You should’ve seen the joy on my face when I realized these were my best squats ever!! I’ve been working so much on my form, from mobility & stability increase to strengthening my core and glutes. Many people don’t know, but when I was 13 I had a bad accident and dislocated my right hip, causing me to have screws put in. I never did any rehab work or barely exercised at all. So every time I squat, a certain level of anxiety appears because I do not want to hurt myself...but I am so happy to see my form steadily improve. . . Not only did I strengthen my muscles but I had to strengthen my tendons and joints as well. From the feet up has to be considered. Ankles, calves, knees, hips, glutes, lower back, upper back, abdominals, everything!! Everything gets trained everything gets strong!! Whenever I felt frustrated that the scale was not budging, Richard would remind me to be patient. He said it was time for me to take care of myself since I took care of my parents and siblings for so long. . Richard has been my biggest cheerleader. When a keto meal delivery company refused to deliver to Laguna anymore, Richard offered his office as a delivery point just so that a new Keto Meal delivery company would continue to send keto-based meals to me on a daily basis. As a family, we also frequent my favorite organic resto @thewholesometable and Richard’s even convinced CJ and Gabe to throw out all unhealthy snacks from our pantry. . 1/2 Still not over this look.....Can I secretly tell you why? . I bought this blush pink dress over a year ago and boy it certainly did not fit! Wouldn’t even go past my super-Beyoncé thighs and the zipper wouldn’t budge. . For some strange reason, I took a leap of faith and just purchased it since I remembered my sister gifted me with a workout guide called the @bodybossmethod . I discovered that if I coupled my keto diet with intermittent fasting, the results were faster. Now, if you do follow my IG stories, you’ll see that I do have cheatday weekends (every fortnight only) and I guess that’s what has kept me from giving up the diet (and my sanity). I also learned that a combination of working out 5-6 days a week with the #Bodyboss, Taebo or running, keto diet, intermittent fasting and the occasional cheatdays all helped me to fit into this dress and the other dresses I’ve ordered online (and wish would arrive before my husband arrives from work. ). . I don’t want to be a hypocrite and say it was easy because it’s certainly a roller coaster journey but (I know it’s cliché) you’ve probably heard this a 1000 times—consistency is the key. Even when you felt like you must have tried everything on the buffet table, just resolve to be consistent for the next 5 days. Baby steps. . “Friends don’t let friends skip leg day!!” Me and @carolinatheamazon schedules didn’t permit us to train legs together tonight but I decided to come in earlier and still get it in, cause she wouldn’t except me just missing my leg session. . . Not everyone can afford a trainer consistently and that’s ok, I couldn’t afford a trainer when I started. What helped me out a lot was all of the nice people that I met along the way, that taught me so much, especially my mentor @jeannettefelicianopro who took me under her wing. Find humble people in the gym, that don’t mind being approached and asked questions. Of course have gym etiquette, realize when’s a good time to approach someone during their workout. You want these people to help you, push you, keep you accountable on everything that you need to do...from training, to eating, to rest time, all of that. No time in life will be perfect but as long as we get the ball rolling, the universe will take care of us . . 1) seated hip abduction w/ hip circle(20reps) 2) barbell hip thrusters(185lbs for 6reps w/hip circle) pause at the top, really connect with the movement 3) hex bar reverse lunge (challenges your stability as well as your core, legs staying inside of bar also creates extra difficulty) 4) kettlebell front squats w/ heels elevated (keep tension on quads, stimulates lats and obliques) I did 5 sets of this circuit with about 3 minutes of rest between sets. كنوع من انواع الاراده قررت انزل بوست و اتكلم عن القرار الفجأه اختوا و غيرلي حياتي للاحسن و ك تشجيع للناس النفسها تخس و مش عارفه .... ده كان شكلي من ٤ سنين مثلاً كنت سعتها مبطله رياضه و كنت في ثانويه ف طبيعي باكل كتيييير جداً و دخلت الجامعه و انا بالمنظر ده انا مكنتش وحشه بس كان الحلو الفيا كان مداري في تخني .. خسيت ازاي انا كنت كل م اكتئب ارقص اه برقص ايه مشكله و الموضوع ده عادي من زومبا ل رقص شرقي كده يعني و مش شرط چيم لا كنت بنزل فديو زومبا من يوتيوب و اعمل زيهم رجعت العب رياضه تاني .. ظبط اكلي لانها لايف استيل مش ديت اوي لاظبطوا و بطلت اكل بعد الساعه ٧ و كنت لما اجوع اكل زبادي يالعسل و الشوفان وبطلت سعتها البيبسي و الشيبسي وكل الاكل من بره و كنت بكله كل شهر مره او مرتين و لو لخبط ببدء اظبط من ال بعده .. عملت فولو ل ناس خست و كده وده شجعني اكتر و علي فكره كلام الناس حفزني اكتر ايه ده انتي تخينه ايه ده مش عارف ايه علي قد مبيجرح و يوجع علي قد م كان بيحفز ... الصرحه مبسوطه بالفرق و هكمل لان فضلي حبه صغيرين للمثالي طول م انتوا عايشين اعملو ال نفسكوا فيه طول م فكي روح تقدري تعملي كل حاجة حتي لو تلعبي كمباز و لا باليه متخليش حاجه في الدنيا توقفك صحتك اهم من اشي ♥️♥️ .
