Tears of joy and stress have been cried. I (figuratively) almost killed myself to make this cosplay. I barely slept the week before Colossal and at Colossal trying to finish this cos every night. I have been living under a box because of this cos and I was so close to giving up, but so many of you sent me such nice and encouraging messages. I'm so touched that my friends and followers believed in me more than I believed in myself . Thank you guys for being my pillar of support! Also special thank you to my bb sis and brother for helping me paint some beads and to mvp @kimchiiiyah for styling my wig and beading one of my necklaces for me. Where would I be without the love and support of my friends and family T//T. -- That being said, I didn't actually finish . (The cos is inaccurate.) She's 80% complete and I still have more beads to string / a lot of fit changes I want to do. In the end, we ended up not shooting because it was raining ☔. The next time I wear her, she will be 100% completed. I did the best in the time I had and I'm still happy I got to take cute selfies with my friends!

Thank you friendos for cosing FF13 with me on Colossal Sat!! FF13 is super special to me bc it's my favorite FF (tho FF10 closely follows it!) This is definitely one of my biggest dream FF coses so I am so happy to have done this with two close friends What won 13 over 10 for me was definitely the voice acting. This is one of those rare instances where I have 200% preference of the English VA over the Japanese!! It's super well done and you guys should def play it if you have the chance ! “ . . . ." -- As I was looking at the raws/previews of Vanille – let me just say there was a huge difference between my first shoot of the day vs my last shoot of the day >__>; By the last shoot, I was dissociating and super tired – and as hard as I tried to not let it show on my face .. I looked absolutely dead LMAO. (Sorry friends D”: ) I was in Vanille for over 8 hours on Katsu Saturday bc I woke up super early to do this shoot with Zero!! I’m used to only being in cos for 3 hours.. 4 hours max before I change out. I have super low energy at cons bc of lack of sleep/no food/precrunch stress l__l;; (Please don't be like me and take care of yourself ) -- p.s. Zero is SOOO amazing at editing T/T . ' , ... ' . -- I am truly shocked I actually look alive in these Magfest photos considering I was still severely jet lagged and recovering from food poisoning. Bless David's magic, photoshop, and godly filters for saving me . In the middle of this shoot one of my beads clasps came undone Q___Q;; and as I was catching 6 beads falling off my armor, I had a horrible foresight of the rest of my beads snapping off, bouncing everywhere, and falling into the water. I literally had a panic attack because I did NOT bring my extra rings/pliers with me. Thankfully, I had Loctite super glue and with some shaky hands I managed to tie a small knot to prevent any more beads from sliding off. Crisis averted this time. Needless to say, when I wore Vanille again at Katsu, I had super glue, fishing wire, pliers, and rings/closures with me just in case!! I always have every type of glue with me when I'm at cons bc it has saved my life countless times. I am also starting to bring more specific repair items that pair with the cos!
