The chicken coop is all finished up. Feed side is fully enclosed & facia is all done. I dare say, that we have one of the nicest chicken coops in the whole valley. Thinking of moving the doghouse run on the back & making a little broody hut/run to really maximize it’s practicality. Seb & I were thinking, that if it was a titch bigger, it would make a super cute tiny house or guest house. Seb @rivers_peace, you build us the best things . As a side note, we harvested the wood from broken down buildings, doors from our cabin when we tore it apart, roof tin from the original cabin. The only material cost was the galvanized tin & hinges and a few 2x4’s. The windows were also salvaged from our cabin. Rückblick -4- . Plötzlich braucht es das öffnen von Türen und eine bewusste Entscheidung durch‘s Treppenhaus nach draußen zu gehen. Um rauszugehen, fühlen zu können was das Wetter gerade macht. Nicht nur einmal stand ich völlig überrascht im Freien und wunderte mich über die Temperatur. Ich konnte das Wetter nicht mehr einschätzen. . Ich fühlte mich blind. Wie ein Fisch auf dem trockenen. . Das Wetter ist so anders. Nicht besser oder schlechter. Einfach anders. Und dabei ist es völlig irrelevant ob es Deutschland oder Afrika ist. Das Klima ist anders. Obwohl ich 32 Jahre hier gelebt habe, ist es mir neu. Denn ich habe es nie hautnah gefühlt. Nie draußen gelebt. (Zumindest nie länger als 2 Monate) Würden wir weiterhin draußen leben, könnte ich es fühlen. Es einschätzen lernen und entdecken. Mit dem Klima sein. . Hier im Haus habe ich keine Verbindung mehr. Bin nicht mehr direkt verbunden. . Das Wetter liegt hinter den Wänden. . Hört sich komisch und unwichtig an? Nicht essentiell? Mag sein. Ich weiß nicht warum es so wichtig ist... das Wetter war ein Teil von mir. Oder war ich ein Teil des Wetters? . Es ist einfach geschehen - es hat sich ergeben... ohne, dass ich bewusst etwas getan hätte. Außer bewusst in der Natur zu sein. . Eine innere Uhr. Ein Kompass. Eine Verbindung. Eine Urverbindung, die mich mittig Wurzeln lies. Mich wieder erdete, wenn ich neben mir stand. Einklang - so viel es mir möglich war. . Und dann sind wir plötzlich mehr drinnen als draußen. Unser Lebensmittelpunkt verlagerte sich ins Haus. Einfach so. Ganz unbemerkt. . Und ja, es ist tatsächlich okay nicht mehr zu wissen wie’s Wetter draußen ist. Ich gewöhne mich daran, nicht mehr 24h hautnah zu fühlen. Aber es ist komisch. Unnatürlich. Ein anderes Leben. . Und dieser Gedanke, dieses Gefühl, dass es unnatürlich ist... fühlt sich verrückt an. . So weit ist es mit mir gekommen? So sehr bin ich die Natur gewohnt, gewöhnt, geworden? .
