We were not prepared for how incredible the water would be here. This was 2 thirds of the way up Snowdon and despite the amazing sunshine it was so cold and windy we only had time for a short dip. Air temp ~4 degrees, water maybe 3/4? Resilience. That’s how Triathlon came into my life. A few years ago, trying to control my anxiety, I started running. And it worked. Later, because of an ankle sprain, I began to bike (and loved it!). And then came the last part of the puzzle: just months after, following my husband (@ivobertoljr) and daughters, I returned to swimming lessons. My first Triathlon race was not as good as I planned. I had a panic attack when swimming (or trying to swim). The lifeguards suggested I give up, but this gave me even more strength to face it and complete. After that, I began to dedicate myself to improving my swim technique and facing the open waters - which led me to many achievements. I usually try to act like my idol Ayrton Senna once said: “In terms of commitment, effort and dedication, there is no middle ground. Выбирая гидрокостюм для плавания в открытой воде не стоит спешить покупать его. Очень важна примерка. Все гидрики разных производителей очень отличаются и имеют разные характеристики и задачи. •Все части гидрокостюма должны плотно прилегать к телу, а молния не должна застегиваться легко или с превеликим трудом. •Новичку подойдёт более «толстый» гидрокостюм, который лучше будет держать на воде. •Открытый гидрик - руки полностью или частично открыты, ноги открыты частично используют для плавания в более тёплой воде.
