Le verbe “aimer” est un peu spécial. Il peut vouloir dire “to love” ♥️quand on l’utilise avec une personne, mais “to like” quand on l’utilise avec une chose.
The verb “aimer” is a bit special. It can mean both “to love” ♥️when used with people and “to like” with things.
* J’aime Thomas. = I love Thomas.
* J’aime le chocolat. = I like chocolate.
⚠️Quand on utilise un adverbe comme par exemple “bien” ou “beaucoup” avec le verbe “aimer” en parlant d’une personne, le verbe ne veut plus dire “to love” mais “to like“.
⚠️When using an adverb like “bien” or “beaucoup” after the verb “aimer” talking about a person, its meaning changes from “to love” to “to like“.
