Feeling #BLESSED for what I experienced last night! If you know me, you know my favorite band has been #Phoenix for lots of years. First time I saw them live was back in 2007 in Argentina. Last night I went to their concert in Brooklyn. I was very close up to the stage, almost first row. Don’t ask me how but I ended up taking a selfie with Thomas Mars (my face in that photo says everything) and being literally next to him while he was singing Rome ♥️. Real story was that he was trying to come down and he had put his hand on my shoulder for support and of course I had my phone ready Swipe to see that photo and more videos! ——- NO PUEDO CREER LO QUE VIVÍ ANOCHE! Happy second anniversary to Ti Amo the sixth studio album by French band @wearephoenix . It was released on 9 June 2017, by Loyauté and Glassnote Records. Recording began in 2014 at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, an arts centre that was built at the site of a theatre. Phoenix said in a press release that the album is about "our European, Latin roots, a fantasized version of Italy", and that the songs focus on "simple, pure emotions: love, desire, lust, and innocence". Been slacking on any Record Store Day posts. Since I was playing a show that night, I didn’t spend much time hunting for vinyl on Saturday. Anyways, I was able to grab the 2 main releases I wanted in one stop... so that was easier than normal. Picked up the Lost In Translation reissue for @carolynleigh82, but I’ve been wanting it anyways. Can’t go wrong with MBV, Kevin Shields, Air, Jesus & Mary Chain, etc.
