This is a place that cannot be compared to anything. I feel very lucky that I could see the building inside. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take pictures as I didn’t have permission. Here is some information about the building: When it originally opened in 1904, the Kelenföld Power Station was one of the most advanced power centers in all of Europe, however it would likely be better remembered for its ornate Art Deco architecture than its technology. The control room, with a massive glass ceiling is one of the building 's most remarkable feature. Nowadays the largest part of the factory is abandoned. Besides our famous ruin pub, gastro culture and ordinary tourist attractions, you can 't imagine howmany amazing hidden places are in Budapest. If you have already seen the Parliament and other typical sights from every angle ,after that you need to visit the Metropolitan Szabó Ervin Library. What is there to know about this building you may ask. After four years of renovating the Wenckheim palace has been reopened in 1931,as the new Metropolitan Library . It has been 80 years since then and as if the time had been stopped. Its atmosphere is the embodiment of pure serenity . The reading rooms became the students' most favoruable place . It 's not a surprise that anyone can find tranquility here. Hm the building is 2 minutes walk from Kálvin square . After quick registration you can use the library 's service for a whole year and it costs less then ONE euro . St. Andrea Wine & Skybar Every year more and more Rooftop Bars and Skybars are opened in Budapest . So every month I would like to show some of them in details. Now it 's Christmas time, so I thought the St. Andrea Wine & Skybar would be perfect , as the first place . It 's located on the rooftop of one of the most attractive buildings at Vörösmarty square. The story of the building is awesome . It has been declared a part of World Heritage by Unesco. It 's easy to find the entrance. When you reach the top floor and catch the view , suddenly you forget everything and get lost in detail of downtown . Of course you should not forget the gastronomic experience ,what the #standreaskybar gives us. Just some thoughts on why I created this profile. In the past I’ve made so many bad decisions, which cannot be undone (enough if only I know about these), however, I can ensure you that I won’t make them in the times to come.
