Whilst they don’t actually punish you as there’s no actual right or wrong way to Pin, they do get more eyes in front of certain pins over others. Recently I ran a poll over on my other insta, the one full of #perthmums. I did this to ya know, confirm that the @Pinterest data about user behaviour was in fact correct in our part of the world too. You’ll be pleased to know that it is in fact totally accurate.⁣ ⁣ 90%, well look 89% of those who partook in the poll, of them jump on when they’re in planning mode. Planning parties, planning to redecorate, looking for style inspo, hair inspo and nail inspo. Planning holidays, activities for themselves and their kids... you get the idea. ⁣ ⁣ Whilst it isn’t necessarily used on the reg by everyone, it is used when they’re ready to be inspired. When they’re looking to make a change and when they’re in buying mode. ⁣ ⁣ I don’t know about you but that’s the most exciting thing I’ve read all day

IT’S OUR 2nd BIRTHDAY!!!! My commitment to myself, friends, family, followers and world was to show up. Yep, me. I wasn’t showing up for my life. Flying totally under the radar waiting for change (read “perfection”) before I would be seen. This year, I made it a point to be “visible” and not wait for things to be perfect before showing up - Not waiting for my weight, website, hair, skin, finishing another course I’ve purchased, book...life. I didn’t do this alone. My family cheered me on when I decided to go in a different direction this year. My biz besties and accountability partners (@pattihaus, @michellevlowery & @barbchaney ) helped me with mindset issues. They pushed when I dug my heels in the #southflorida sand. Part of my visibility plan was to take professional pics and do more video. Even though I’m still working on video (baby steps), I connected with a photographer (@incommonphotography ) who captured my best asset (my happiness) on her camera. She doesn’t know how much it meant for her to make me laugh during the session. Last, but not least, there are countless blogger/influencer friends who encouraged me without saying a word directly to me. @ceceolisa told me not to wait on my weight to show up. (I’m listening!) @jasminestar pushed me to live and document my best authentic life during each of her #socialcurator lives. @amyporterfield cheered me on as I developed my upcoming courses on DCA and my plan to go live. And, @marieforleo reminds me that only I can share the gifts that I have with the world. I can go on. And, I will. Stay tuned to see all the great (and not so great) things happening in my corner of the world and the countless of people who are supporting me directly and indirectly. ➡️️ It’s not all rainbows & butterflies... . It’s so easy for us to play the comparison game on social media when we’re seeing other entrepreneurs “killing it” & making it look so easy. . But the truth is... . You don’t really know what’s going on behind the scenes. ‍♀️ . I’m the first to admit that I don’t share the struggles enough... . Like how lately... . I haven’t been prioritizing my self care at all lately and my mental game has been off. Or how I’m not hitting the income goals I set for myself because I’ve been so all over the place that my plans were thrown off. . Those are the struggles I’ve been going through lately but at the same time... I try to remind myself every day that I can choose to let things flow & be easy. ✨ . But the reality is that things don’t always go as planned. We don’t always hit our goals. And entrepreneurship can be the most rewarding wild, emotional ride. . ⚡️ And the key thing to remember is this: Those "struggles" are meant to teach us something. They serve as lessons that we can take on our journey so we can show up as a stronger version of ourselves in the future. ⚡️ .
