Working or planning a trip to Spain?⠀ ⠀ might be a bit of both lol⠀ ⠀ One question that i get asked a lot is if i always knew i wanted to own my own business.⠀ ⠀ Yes. Absolutely. I’ve always been creative and entrepreneurial minded. I even remember when i was little i would pick pears off of the neighbors tree in my grandparents neighborhood. Then go sell them to everyone that would open the door lol⠀ ⠀ I hated high school. Hated it. I thought it was a waste of my time so i didn’t apply myself. I just wanted to learn what i could about running a business. Which is why by the time i graduated high school i was running my grandparents business. (I did that for 10plus years, i started young lol)⠀ ⠀ College, didn’t wanna do that either, but thankfully Madre didn’t give me a choice. I wouldn’t have found what i loved to do.⠀ ⠀ I thought i only wanted to be a business owner, but what i realized with ceramics was that i could genuinely love the creative process ( even on days when i didn’t feel like working.) and still be a business owner.⠀ ⠀ Huhhhhh, flashback to that day of my senior year in college when i sat in the car and cried because i was running a business, full time student, senior exhibition and started my own business. I. WAS. EXHAUSTED. ⠀ ⠀ Total over here y’all. Best part is, i don’t think many people knew all of that about me lol.⠀ ⠀ I was always different though, i knew that. I knew i wanted different things. I never had my wedding planned on Pinterest, i never had the desire to have kids, still don’t lol.⠀ ⠀ But what i did have was a creative soul that wanted to dig into anything and everything that i possibly could. I wanted to build, travel and create. Still do lol⠀ ⠀ I’ve never been much for having a bunch of stuff, there’s nothing wrong with wanting things. But honestly, the less stuff i have the better i feel. When things start to feel cluttered, my head feels cluttered. So, thats why tiny living is my jam. Half the drawers in here are still empty lol .
