But during my 24 years of life, I’ve seen and experienced things most people will never experience; Terrorism, threat with knife, recently lost my mom to cancer and the list goes on. I know many will be shocked, some of these are things I don’t talk about and things I’ve kept secret for years. But this is a part of me - these situations have made me to the person I am today. And I’m proud of how strong she is. «What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger» - believe me, that is damn true. What I’ve gone through made me change my career choice from police to ambulance. After the bomb attack, I decided that I wanted to help other people in need. I would never risk to stand in a situation where I couldn’t help injured people again. Never. I’ve never regretted taking this education, it's an incredibly rewarding job and I love it! We often see tragedy and the sad truth is that we can’t save everyone, but one life saved is better than none and we always do our best to help you and your family whenever you’re in need! Of course, there are many fine missions too, such as births My point of telling you this is that it's easy to get negative because you get beat down. Especially if you get sick, injured, lose someone you love or go through hard times. Life is not a bed of roses; life is tough and it's easy to stay in that negative frame of mind. Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is a whole cliche, but your attitude is going to determine how you're going to live your life! ☺️ Every day, I like to wake up and remind myself to be grateful of the simple things. And so should you, because our lives are a gift and tomorrow is not promised.
