Taking a minute to take in ALL that the Almighty has gifted me! Also taking a break this weekend from filming, but still have a few more days left. What do I know for sure? I will not be the same person I was when I first arrived here in Chicago last Sunday and I will be doing much more film productions in the future. I'm open to TV, movies, etc. I also know that I will be living in this city for at least 2 years in the near future. ☄KINSTRETCH CLASS PIGEON PUSH UPS☄ . This Sunday @yogaloftnorth 11:15am. Yes it's mothers day but class is still on! We will be working on some external rotation of both the hips and shoulders . I'm guessing that we will be doing some of the these super fun (sarcasm) pigeon push up passive range holds. This is def not your typical yogi pigeon. . I've dont these before using a bench but I definitely like this set up using the dumbells better. We will be using yoga blocks in class. I like using them (or the dumbells becuase it already gives us some extra height to get that pigeon leg off the floor. . Today, it was an absolute pleasure to do my presentation at the Florida Technical College, in Kissimmee, FL. The students were simply amazing! I have also raffled one of the chef coats from my Chef Coco Collection. The students will also join me at the 2019 American Culinary Federation National Convention in August. Where they will partake in the meet & greet with Chef Coco and also the official launch of the chef's collection. Thanks to Martin Levert, Executive Director and Executive Chef Gentile for you invite. I shared my journey on becoming a Chef, Educator & Entrepreneur along with doing a demo on Chicken Marsala. Taking ingredients and adding heat might seem easy, but the truth is, knowing the content of each & which technique to use is the true test. This is the same in life, being able to take the ingredients that life throws us & taking them to the next level is where the pursuit of happiness lies. Aligning one's self with the right associations plays a key roll on the journey. Whether, an actual association or the company you keep, matters a great deal. I was inducted into the the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs as a student at Le Cordon Bleu Orlando and it continues to gain so much from it's global reach. The prestigious Disciples of Escoffier International-USA & the American Culinary Federation has all played a great role on my journey. These are just a few jewels, I shared with today's students. The student's experience should be priority. In doing so, that will be the game changer. Here's to every culinary & baking student pursuing the dream. ☄PROGRESS REPORT ☄ . “So, in short - it now looks like you have joints” `@coachzachdeck . The videos on the left are from last April.  They were the initial assessment videos when I first started to work with Zach when we he was doing personalized programs before  #remotekinstretchmembership.  I did that first 12 weeks then with out a second thought switched over to RKM when it launched. . The proof is in the pudding as they say. And I hope you can tell from these side by sides that I have made some major progress this past year. . I know it may be hard to tell (especially in the shoulders) while there is definitely more ROM now the big progress is how much less compensation there is. My hips and shoulders are actually doing hip and shoulder stuff now. I have joints!!! . What you can’t get from the videos is how much better these movements actually feel in my body. They feel so much smoother and so much more in control! . This has carried over to my everyday life too! Work takes such toll on my body this has been a game changer. . A year of working with Zach has not only just improved my movement but my knowledge as well.  If it wasn’t for all the I learned this past year from him I can honestly say there is no way I would have had the confidence to not only get FRC and Kinstretch certified but to actually start teaching a weekly Kinstretch class last month. .
