Do you ever feel like you’re remembering something, or put into situations that mirror something from a past life, as if you were continuing a mission from millennia ago ? As if something in your ancestral DNA has been unlocked ? Or that perhaps suddenly, synchronicities are too perfectly aligned to be true ? What’s happening?
I often see sound medicine as “truth juice” as it enables us to shed layers to dive deep into our truth. Are you living your truth? Am I living mine ? I believe that certain frequencies carry codes that unlock pathways to our truth, whether we understand them or not. There are so many more ways for us to absorb information than just speaking, reading, and hearing words. In our current conditioning it is so rare for us to take a moment in pure silence to listen to what our hearts have to say.
Take a moment today to Listen and remember ✨
This photo is from a sound meditation with my dear friends @spiritmetacine, Seth Quest and @rebeccathieneman. ✨

I don't put people names in jars. I use my ancestors and the Orishas to handle people that try to do me and my family harm. This is so I don't use my energy towards things and people that will distract me from my purpose in life. I don't have time nor energy to do that.#witchesofinstagram #blackwitches #brujasofinstagram #brujas #priestess #blackwitchesofinstagram
Grand Hood Rising ⚡ Never too early for African knowledge. Look up/become associated with the #42principlesofMaat , which were brought forth and practiced before any 10 Commandments | #Regram @the.kraal: "Ma’at: Goddess of truth, justice, wisdom, harmony and divine balance. In Kemet, Ma’at represented the order on both Heaven and Earth. Her feather, known as the feather of truth, is the instrument by which she decided whether a person would successfully reach the afterlife — by weighing the heart of the person against the feather.
The opposite force to Ma’at is Isfet — meaning chaos, injustice, or to do evil. ⚔️
.
Ma’at can also be seen as the original African thought or way of life. Our ancestors strongly believed that every individual was responsible for his or her own life and that life should be lived with other people and the earth in mind; “In the same way that the gods cared for humanity, so should humans care for each other and the earth which they had been provided with.” (https://www.ancient.eu/Ma'at/)
.
Ma’at exists everywhere in Africa, just under different names and what is commonly referred to as “animism”, is probably the highest practice of Ma’at. This is why our ancestors organized their existence around the laws of the universe, in order to maintain life, not destroy it. Guardians, not owners of nature, they integrated perfectly into their environment. For example, even before cutting down a tree or killing an animal, they made sure that it was necessary. This is also why in many cultures across the continent, meat is eaten only after a ritual or for a special occasion.
Examples of how the principles of Ma’at have been used and are used in Africa are found everywhere, from architecture (through design and sustainable practices), to agriculture, & music - the USE of music, not simply for entertainment, but mostly for giving thanks to the Creator, healing, and reaching elevated states of consciousness...
.
Considering that everything is divine creation, in the original African way of life, the main task of human beings is to acknowledge, practice and maintain Ma’at."

During rituals, there are usually signs that are giving to you that your offering has been accepted. Always watch for the signs. I feel great after my rituals and offering knowing that I put all positive intent into it. Asé!
