Indian Woman Raped By An Egyptian An Indian woman recently lodged a complaint at Ahmadi Police Station against an Egyptian salesman of a mobile phone store, accusing him of raping her, reports Al-Rai daily. She explained that the suspect told her about a room available for sharing with some other Asian women, and took her to an apartment where he raped her. Securitymen summoned him to the police station and questioned him. He admitted to the act but denied raping her, insisting that it was consensual. Asian Expat Was Arrested At T1 Terminal Of KIA For Attempting To Smuggle 3.6kgs Of Marijuana An Asian expatriate was arrested at T1 terminal of Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle 3.6 kilograms of marijuana into the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily. A member of the Customs Media Committee Nawaf Al-Matar explained that one of the customs inspectors suspected the Asian passenger who arrived at the airport and checked his bag to find some strange items as well as around 3.6 kilograms of marijuana. 431 Violations Concerning Theft Of Electric Power And Water Recorded During 2018 The head of the judicial police in the Ministry of Electricity and Water Adnan Dashti announced the issuance of 431 violations concerning theft of electric power and water during 2018, reports Al-Qabas daily. Dashti told the daily during the first four months of this year, 73 violations were detected and 42 cases of theft have been proved. He pointed out the irregularities include theft of electricity and water and the direct connection of power supply to the homes and apartments without the knowledge of the ministry and tampering with the electricity meters. Dashti added that the measures taken against the violators are to put a block on the violator who has to submit a request for a conciliation order to the ministry, through a committed to implement the provisions of Law 48 of 2005 headed by the Assistant Undersecretary of Electricity for the distribution of electrical networks and 6 members.
