The comments have been so beautifully positive. Ok so to answer a few questions ... 1️⃣This quilt I adapted from a pattern - I can’t remember which magazine/ book it was and ALL my literature is 3000 miles from me in a different country as I emigrated to Canada last year from the UK. I would absolutely credit if I could for the original pattern. I changed the colours, the background colour and also changed some of the widths of the strips. 2️⃣ I made this quilt pre Instagram! Well, at least my pre Instagram days anyway! I (think) I finished it in 2016 ... I had a Facebook page with 18000 likers and basically sold from my FB page as soon as I designed a quilt more or less. I closed my business page in Jan 2018 due to very ill health and emigrating with my husband and 4 children. 3️⃣ The pictures probably aren’t Instagram worthy because of number 2️⃣... I still don’t think any of my pictures will be Instagram worthy... I’m not a photographer... definitely a quilt maker! 4️⃣ - I used to make 100 quilts a year! Yep - 100!!! But, I have been diagnosed with a Tonsillar Ectopica ( my brain is leaking into my spinal canal) and I’m pretty much slowly ( but surely) becoming crippled at 39. I also have Hypothyroidism and Severe Hypertension ... so I struggle to make one quilt every 6 months at the moment! 5️⃣ i will definitely be making patterns now that we are settled here and if you’d like to work with me then please do DM me and let’s see what we can create!

I got it done!!! My favorite part of the #meadowlandqal is the fact that all these strangers made something together for six weeks. There is something so powerful and beautiful about that. I’ve loved seeing all your striking fabric pulls and combinations and all the support and #quiltylove for everyone’s work. THANK YOU if you commented on this quilt while it was being made and especially if you weighed in about the block order. That helped so much and was so awesome. *Werbung-Quiltservice* Noch ein letzter Rückblick auf die #nadelwelt2019 Ein besonderes Highlight war für mich, diesen Quilt von meiner Kundin Franziska Ratz in der #lapassionquilt Ausstellung zu sehen. Mit viel Herzklopfen habe ich dieses Prachtstück gequiltet und es jetzt hier nochmal bewundert. Ich habe höchste Achtung und Respekt vor allen Künstlern, die diese Quilts über Jahre hinweg genäht haben. Die Ausstellung war wirklich großartig . Mich hat auch sehr gefreut, dass die Longarmquilter bei den Beschreibungen mit aufgeführt waren. Das ist leider nicht selbstverständlich, deshalb hier ein Herzliches Dankeschön dafür! One last look back at the #nadelwelt2019 A special highlight for me was to see this quilt from my client Franziska Ratz in the #lapassionquilt exhibition. With much heartbeat, I have quilted this gem and now admired it here again. I have the highest respect for all artists who have sewn these quilts for years. The exhibition was really great . I was also very pleased that the Longarmquilter were listed in the descriptions.
