Half of the walk is up the river crossing small wooden bridges to reach the top of the mountain and then begin to descend while the Valley of Cocora magically appears with its giant wax palms ::: This 5-hour hike took us almost 30 hours. When we reached the top of the mountain we had no energy to make the descent. It was almost 5 in the afternoon and we had only eaten a breakfast of eggs and coffee at 8 in the morning. I literally trembled with hunger and fatigue ::: Fortunately, we found a farm at the top of the trail where a forest ranger lives, "David The Savior". David offered us aguapanela (sugar cane drink)with cheese and after seeing our fatigue he also offered us to spend the night at the farm. After a dinner full of rice, pasta, pork rinds and eggs, perfect to regain strength, something unexpected happened ::: When the night fell and the electronic generator went off we saw the silhouette of MorroGacho (pic 2) surrounded in the sky by a sea of ​​stars. On the mountain there was a cold silence disturbed only by the sound of the crickets sobbing their wings and the horses eating the fresh grass (pic 3) ::: I have a lot to tell about what happened in the last two days.
