6/10 . Mimo, że słyszałam liczne zachwalające opinie o piórze Małgorzaty Falkowskiej, nigdy nie miałam okazji się z nim "spotkać". "Nagranie" to trochę taki debiut autorki z gatunku kryminał. Byłam bardzo ciekawa tej ksiażki i cieszę się, że trafiła moje ręce, jednak czuje niedosyt. . W Toruniu giną młodzi mężczyźni w przedziale 22-28 lat. Policja nie ma żadnych śladów, a komisarz Maciej Gorczyński jest załamany brakiem rozwoju sprawy. Gdy do rodzin zaginionych chłopaków docierają nagrania, wspólnie z Sylwią Trojańska, swoją przyjaciółką i kochanką, która posiada dar jasnowidzenia, dostają pierwsze wskazówki i poszlaki o porwaniach. Czy poznają prawdę, zanim będzie za późno? . Pomysł na kryminał był naprawdę ciekawy, gadżety, które dostałam od wydawnictwa, pozwoliły mi na zabawę w detektywa i wczuły mnie w cały świat stworzony przez autorkę. Jednak w historii zabrakło napięcia, tempa akcji i emocji. Czytając, ten kryminał nie czułam nic, poza ciekawością. Brakowało mi dreszczyku emocji i krwawego widoku. Wydawało mi się, że autorka bardziej skupiła się na problemie miłosnym komisarza i Sylwii, jak na śledztwie. Gdzie zachowanie bohaterów również było dziwne i niedojrzałe. Opisana akcja była bardzo płytka, a zagadkę, w większości rozwiązały dzieci komisarza? Niestety tak. Duży plus książki to lekkość pióra, które bardzo przypadło mi do gustu i krótkie rozdziały. Kryminały to dość specyficzny gatunek, szczególnie, że ja lubię krwawo i dość mocno. Tutaj mi tego zabrakło. Jednak jak na kryminalny debiut, naprawdę nie jest źle. Got a surprise package from Ireland today, which immediately put a smile on my face. Turns out, it was from my pal @georgireads. He graciously sent me a book by one of his favorite authors (outside of Atwood and Erdrich obv ). I’ve never read anything by Donal Ryan, so I’m very much looking forward to it! ☆☆☆☆⁣ ⁣ Okay, you guys... Am I super late to the party with this one and everyone’s done with it already? This is a “bookstagram made me do it” book, for sure.⁣ ⁣ I know there’s not much to say about Ask Again, Yes that hasn’t already been said but I just want to reaffirm how good it is. It really IS literary fiction at its best. I was so impressed with the writing and I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of Mary Beth Keane before this release. ⁣ ⁣ It follows the lives of two families and the tragedy that connects them over the course of four decades. I love a good family story and this one tackles some tough, real issues. It’s about love, loss, forgiveness AND the strength + hope it takes to forgive. ⁣ ⁣It took me a bit to get invested in the characters but that’s not unusual for me with literary fiction... Once I did, I couldn’t stop until I knew how it ended. I can’t wait to see what this author does next!
