Ahhhhh, I’m always finding art that I started, but haven’t finished yet!… Here’s a recent one from January that I completely forgot I was creating.. It’s a repeat pattern for fabric, etc.. featuring the original drawings that I submitted to Bethany Lowe Designs for this year’s Halloween collection. Not all the characters are shown in this design and others weren’t picked up for 2019, but who cares right? It would make for some spooky cute fabric.. I remember now getting stuck at the background stars and swirl elements, and if I should keep them in their loose chalk style -OR- if they need to be tightened with crisp edges…Oh the things that keep up late at night… hah!!! (swipe to see the whole pattern tile) I’m hoping to complete and upload more designs in my Spoonflower Shop by the end of May. Fingers crossed. I have too many irons in the fire and OH SO MANY IDEAS… I’m very grateful that my source of inspiration is continually flowing… Although, I’m quite certain it’s on overload at times, which can really send me in a multitude of creative directions…

that’s how I generally start my patterns...loose motifs. Quite often I completely change the color palette once I’m done but in this case I mostly kept all the original colors. Can you recognize this elements? #patterndesign
