Quasi in diretta dal volo per Cagliari, che non è ancora partito perché casualmente c’è un po’ di ritardo, volevo farvi dare un’occhiata alla cena del mio compleanno da @osteriafernanda . Premetto che è un posto nel quale tornerei, e se mi conoscete un pochino capite che questo è già un gran complimento. Partiamo dei prezzi: oltre alla carta, ci sono dei menu molto molto convenienti che vanno da 49 € a 69 € fino ad arrivare ai 100 € per 10 portate scelte dallo chef. Io ho preso un meno da 69 € (7portate). E veniamo al giudizio: concentrazioni, colori, consistenze, acidità, temperature, fermentazioni. Nella cucina del giovane chef laziale Davide del Duca questi dettagli ci sono tutti, governati con mano esperta e in un ambiente che ricorda più il nord Europa che l’Italia. Buonissimo gli spaghettoni con melanzane bruciate, pistacchio e tartare di gamberi, ma anche la versione particolare della pepata di cozze. E si finisce con un maritozzo! This weekend I was invited to get know @villagemongolianwest As a huge fan of Asian cuisine myself, I absolutely love it! You can pick your meal from the menu or build your own at the buffet, paying by the weight, there are plenty of veggies, noodles, meat, sauces, the combination are endless, including vegan and gluten free options as well, and it’s all fried right in front of you. It comes with free soup and rice. The ambient is cozy and beautiful, and the service is great! Amazing! |AD Dear Instafriends, Last week, @stephyttravels and I were invited to @bearabearacafe which is a short walk from Angel tube station on Upper Street. It’s not just a cafe or a bag shop. Think of a concept store of the two married together. Downstairs is a bright and airy cafe that serves seriously tasty coffee that has gone with a cheese themed menu. I would highly recommend the macaroni cheese scotch egg and the goats cheese on walnut bread with roasted figs, pistachio and hazelnut dukkah, drizzled with orange blossom honey. The flavours were outstanding and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The middle floor is a little darker but quieter, here is the ideal place to pitch up and work remotely for the day. There’s also a lovely bar and I’m excited to see the events they’ll be holding there in the near future. At the top of the building is the bag room. It’s the absolute dream. The smell of leather is intoxicating and there was something very satisfying to see two walls filled with bags. All made in Bolivia by artisans who have been professionals in their trade most of their lives. These bags are absolutely stunning, brilliantly made and all so stylishly unique. From traditional to modern. There’s certainly a bag for every taste. Disclaimer: I was gifted a bag and invited for brunch, however these are my true thoughts. @beara_beara Is somewhere I would pay to go again and again.
