Jesus ( Pbuh ) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171. 2. Jesus ( Pbuh ) didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145. 3. Jesus ( Pbuh ) greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” ( Peace be with you ) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way. 4. Jesus ( Pbuh ) always said “God Willing” ( Inshallah ), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24. 5. Jesus ( Pbuh ) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same. 6. Jesus ( Pbuh ) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground ( See Matthew 26:39 ). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43. 7. Jesus ( Pbuh ) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same. 8. Jesus ( Pbuh ) followed the law and believed in all the prophets. ( see Matthew 5:17 ). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285. 9. Jesus’ mother Maryam ( Pbut ) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf ( hijab ) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59. 10. Jesus ( Pbuh ) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days ( See Qur’an 2:183 ), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist. Father Accepts Islam before he passed away. Revert Sister Story♥️ My father was really sick, when we discoverd the disease it already owned his body from cheek to toe.. on the bones.. very painful! When i converted to #Islam ( 3 years ago ) my father never made fun of me, he always treated me with full respect.. #Alhamdulillah.. I remember the day i was crying to my parents, that they should become muslim.. now! Before its to late #FearingJahannam But my dad told me that he accepted me for what I want.. but that he will stay on his religion because of his parents ) It hurt me very much but i also knew.. if my dad didn't want something, he wouldn't do it! So i left the house.. But i never gave up.. In the nights.. when it rains.. while im fasting.. I asked Allah to guide my father, because i was so scared he would die on kufr.. while he was always such a loyal, good men/father.. One day my father was so sick he couldn't even sit down.. so he was laying on bed while i sit on the ground.. my father looked at me while i started talking about islam ( again ) Dad, listen.. I started talking about the graveyard, cremation and Munkar & Nakir.. My father this time didn't stop me.. Thats a clear sign; my father wants to hear it.. I knew i told him things he never heard of.. And that he would think about it, when im gone.. not pushing, just telling! The next day my twinsister called me very happy: did u hear it? I said: what? And she hang up.. #Strangeee Inside i felt happy with a hopeful thought..i run to my parents house.. wallahi, i felted inside.. soooo much joy.. this couldn't be something else.. I opened the door, my mother smiled and said: go upstairs.. i Ran upstairs, straight to my beloved father.. i looked him in the eyes.. it was so peaceful.. he said: yes I stuttered: yes.. what dad? He said: yes.. i want to say the shahada! This feeling... waaw i can't describe.. The next day i was @ the hospital with my father, we decided to already say the shahada, just the 2 of us for Allah.. before its to late.. It was such a special moment, we also laughed very hard because the Arabic language was very difficult for my father.. so sweet. #revert

Post-Ramadan thoughts: I wrote on May 5 that I would be doing a “Negativity Fast” for Ramadan, and wanted to follow up with how things went. ⠀⠀ I unfortunately did not achieve a lot of my spiritual goals for the month - to be honest, even without fasting, I was beyond exhausted. Our whole schedule was shifted and I was woken up a lot in the night by Talib coming home from taraweeh and getting up for suhoor. The baby has also been keeping me awake a lot at night. ⠀⠀ However, I feel really good about how things with with the negativity fast. And Allah tested me hard - don’t make a commitment and think that you won’t be tested on it! Some incredibly stressful things happened that could have sent me spiralling into anger, resentment and “victim mentality.” And yes, I did get angry. Which is okay. Because I also let it go. I processed it and moved past it, with the trust that Allah has the best plans and when life is out of my control, it’s always in His. I focused on gratitude for what I had, and not disappointment in what I had lost. ⠀⠀ I’m going to do my best to this year to work on being in that state of mind, remove toxic people from my life, and banish complaining. ⠀⠀ I’d love to hear how your Ramadan went, which goals you accomplished and what you think you can feasibly continue throughout the rest of the year!
