✅On May 31, the RNRMU Training Center (TCIMT) and the academic mobility group of our University organized a workshop to share the best practice with foreign doctors. Professor Ulf Peter Neumann, Head of the Hepatobiliary Surgery Clinics of Aachen (Germany) and Maahstricht (Netherlands), took part in a medical conference in Pirogov Municipal Clinical Hospital. He spoke about the methods of surgical treatment of cholangiocarcinoma (including Klatskin tumor) and various options for open and laparoscopic liver resection. ⠀ ‍⚕️At the end of the conference Alexander Sazhin, the Head of the Department of Faculty Surgery No. 1 of the Faculty of General Medicine of our University, the chief specialist of the Russian-Japanese Center for Endoscopy and Laparoscopy at the Accreditation Center (TCIMT), corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, expressed hope for further cooperation in the field of hepatobiliary surgery and suggested to organize joint educational courses at our University. ⠀ In turn, Anjali Roeth, the head of the Association of Young Surgeons of Germany (University Hospital of the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University), visited our University. She gave an interesting lecture about the features of postgraduate training of surgeons in Germany in general and at the hospital itself, in particular. Despite the exams, the significant number of students was interested, mostly students of the International Faculty. English was the language of the event. Before the lecture, Mikhail Vladimirovich Anurov, the Deputy Director of the Center for Accreditation (TCIMT), M.D., gave the welcome speech. He stressed that this hospital houses the Aachen High School Medical Faculty and the Department of Surgery, which is headed by Professor Neumann, and also noted that Anjali Roeth, being his assistant, is actively involved in creating of training programs for future doctors who have chosen general surgery or endoscopy. ⠀ At the end of the event our guest expressed gratitude to Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Bylova, the dean of the International Faculty. ✅On April, 22 Dr. Martin Chalfie, University Professor at Columbia University and 2008 Chemistry Nobel Laureate, gave a lecture at Pirogov RNRMU. ⠀ During his public lecture «The Continuing Need for Useless Knowledge» an outstanding scientist spoke about how scientific discoveries are made and how the philosophy of science is developing in the modern world. Dr. Martin Chalfie and his colleagues were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of Green Fluorescent Protein. ⠀ “The occurrence of such a tool as a green fluorescent protein for scientists can be compared with the occurrence of an X-ray machine or a tomography machine in medicine, - Sergey Anatolievich Lukyanov, the Rector of Pirogov RNRMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences explains the importance of this discovery. - It allowed us to observe the processes that occur inside living cells: individual molecules, individual organelles, the interaction between molecules. Участница номинации «ОБЩЕСТВЕННАЯ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТЬ» и «ВЫПУСКНИК ГОДА» - Светлана Лукьянова ⠀ Иногда одна большая победа куется из сотни малых. Но бывает, что всего один большой поступок меняет все. И не важно, в какой области он совершен – в спорте или творчестве, волонтерстве или учебе. Главная номинация — «Выпускник года» — вручается студенту, который уже в начале своего пути смог изменить жизнь студентов в Университете. ⠀ Светлана Лукьянова (лечебный факультет): Два года я представляю спортивный клуб в Студенческом совете. Кроме организаторской работы в ССК «Эверест» я занималась журналистикой, фото и видеосъемками, развивая студенческое СМИ. В этом мне помогло участие в выездной школе медиаволонтеров. Действительно, все образовательные выезды играют большую роль в формировании новых качеств и компетенций. Так, например, участие в форуме студенческих спортивных клубов в Казани дало мне отличную базу для того, чтобы наладить работу нашего спортивного клуба, ведь на выезде своим опытом делились профессионалы. #новости_РНИМУ 4 июня в нашем Университете прошла конференция «Внутренние болезни на догоспитальном этапе. Фенотипы бронхообструктивного синдрома». Ее огранизаторами выступили РНИМУ им. Н.И. Пирогова, кафедра поликлинической терапии лечебного факультета и диагностический клинический центр №1. ⠀ На открытии конференции с приветственным словом к гостям и участникам обратилась заведующая кафедрой поликлинической терапии ЛФ профессор Вера Николаевна Ларина: ⠀ «В настоящее время уделяется огромнейшее внимание работе врача в амбулаторных условиях. Для того, чтобы максимально эффективно подготовить обучающихся, нам необходимо общение, которое выступает главной целью данной конференции. Это общение и тесное взаимодействие с кафедрами – не только нашего университета, но и в будущем с вузами различных городов – признано развивать мультидисциплинарный подход». ⠀ Далее слово предоставили Заслуженному врачу Российской Федерации, почетному профессору РНИМУ им. Н.И. Пирогова Борису Яковлевичу Барту, который дал наставление сидящим в зале студентам, ординаторам и молодым ученым: «У нас особо сложная задача – сделать так, чтобы вы выросли хорошими и грамотными врачами, так как в современном мире всеми догоспитальными проблемами пациентов занимаются не участковые врачи, а врачи общей практики. И я всегда говорил, что лучшие врачи – это врачи после Второго меда!» ⠀ В общей сложности выступил 21 докладчик. Our students’ victory at the Festival of Italian Regions! ⠀ The final stage of the annual contest “Festival of Italian Regions 2019” took place on April 11 at Moscow School 1409. The festival, which celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, was held as part of the Italian Language Distribution Program in Russia, coordinated by the Department of Education of the Italian Consulate General in Russia (and the Head of the Department Professor Giuseppe Lo Porto). ⠀ ✅The participants of the Festival had to describe in six minutes the history of the selected region in a creative, consistent, competent, innovative way, in Italian. The representatives of the Italian Consulate General in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Italian directors and teachers evaluated the knowledge of the language, the correctness of the pronunciation, the originality of the plot and the complexity of the characters. The best of the best were chosen in five nominations "Award for the Best Leading Role", "The Best Performance", "The Best Group Work", "The Best Knowledge of Italian" "The Best Approaching of the Topic". ⠀ 19 schools from various regions of Russia and only 2 universities were admitted to the final stage of the competition. Pirogov RNRMU was represented by the 2nd year students of the International Faculty: ✨Maria Borisova, ✨Polina Glazova, ✨Timofey Gudz, ✨Veronika Smirnova ✨Darya Syomina. Our students presented the report about the history of the anatomical school of Padua (Veneto), which was prepared together with professor Loreti Angelo (Department of Humanities of the International Faculty, Head of the Department is Emiliano Mettini). ⠀ The result of our team was a victory in the nomination "The Best Knowledge of Italian"! The jury appreciated the confidence and language proficiency of students.
