A different kind of #transformationtuesday! It’s not lost on me that I looked more pregnant before than I do now.. actually pregnant! SO mind blowing to see the difference side-by-side. Somehow, we’re 30 weeks today with that perfect, growing little girl who’s making me the luckiest, happiest mama! We’re both doing well- healthy, happy & thriving. Besides the normal aches & pains, I’m just so immensely grateful for a normal, healthy, happy pregnancy on the other side of WLS and so thankful for this body that has overcome so much as we fought and won the battle over super morbid obesity together. Y’all, once upon a time, I had a BMI well over 60. I could never keep off a 20 lb loss, let alone 185 lbs and I sure as the world just never thought my and our dreams of getting pregnant would ever come true with the condition of my health, my body etc. But here we are, doing all the things! And my heart could literally burst. It didn’t happen over night and it sure wasn’t the easy way out. It was hard and it forever changed me as I got to finally LIVE my life- a life I could be proud of. A life filled with so much joy. Happy Tuesday, friends! If I can do this, so can you. ❤️

Well this is pretty awesome! I literally can’t even grasp my head around what’s happening but I feel good and I’m enjoying the process. My hairs starting to become alittle straw like which is kind of nasty and I’m not looking forward to the inevitable hair loss stage. Gotta take the good with the bad though and I know this won’t last forever. Embrace the suck is my motto. It makes you resilient and courageous. Happy Friday everyone!

So I have been struggling with posting my progress as of late. Not because I’m not progressing but because I know I have been down this weight before. I started my weight loss journey about 6 years ago after the devastating end of my marriage. I was in full survival mode. I was mentally and emotionally at the lowest point ever in my life. I had no clue what I was doing, I just didn’t want to hurt anymore. In between these years I’d fluctuate up and down. The mental toll that has taken on me has been very intense. It’s one of the reason I don’t feel worthy of posting progress pics or drawing any attention to myself because I have seen this weight before but I have never sustained it. Then today as I was thinking about this all and remembering how far I have come I said to myself it’s important for me to share this struggle and be vulnerable not only for myself but you all as well. We all struggle, we all are fighting to overcome our demons. I’m no different then any of you. Im terrified of not being successful with this tool. I’m overwhelmingly terrified at times. I will say that for the first time in my life I do feel more in control and that gives me the peace and patience to keep going. No matter the route you take to lose weight just know I’m with you and support you because this by far has been the hardest thing I have ever done and I don’t wish for this struggle on anyone. Keep fighting everyone. We all are worth it! I love you❤️
