The ‘old me’. I’ve been really crap on Instagram of late, and I know it. I’ve not had the confidence to post much and I’ve lost a load of followers. Your Instagram following and popularity shouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’ve used this platform as a creative outlet, a community and an extension of yourself and your personality for the best part of 5 years, it’s noticeable when it’s no longer part of your life. I miss blogging. I miss my vintage lifestyle, I miss my confidence and I miss you guys. I became a Mum in August last year and it’s the toughest thing I’ve ever done (a blessing, but tough!) Not only is looking after a small human tough, but accepting that I’m now a Mum and the change that brings is unbelievably difficult. I’m not a different person now, I’m just changed, but I’m struggling to get to grips with this slightly different person I’ve become. I apologise for the radio silence and the crap posts and the lack of blogging and just generally falling off the bloody radar! I am hopeful that a year from now I will be back at pin up’ing and all the cool stuff that makes being part of this community so awesome. I’m also sorry to all you guys who’ve followed me all these years. Please stick with me, I will be back soon. And to any other new Mums out there struggling with their new ‘Mum’ identity - you’re still YOU. You just have a little tiny version of yourself messing up your bangs which took you 20 minutes to perfect! ❤️ LMDW ❤️ PS: I’ve tagged some of my fave bad ass pin up Mums. Big props for being you.
