We've spent years honing our craft and skills for liquid Rhinoplasty, and were now accredited trainers for medical professionals for the same. I do it all the time - stare without realising it. I'm fascinated by my environment, and always learning and observing. If you're in our industry especially, you're always silently appreciating the curve of a nose in profile, the smattering of adorable freckles across it's bridge, cute little pointed milk teeth, thick healthy eyebrows, philtral undulation, mandibular angles, a particularly natural ash blonde hair colour or just something elegant about the way someone moves their hands. More often than not, I'm not only appreciating it, but thinking about how we would try to recreate that natural perfection in clinic. You're quite often my inspiration and you don't even know it! It's sad, that a few cruel people often condition us to believe that an intense gaze can only be negative. Please don't. You're pretty remarkable. We see scores of thousands of you a year, and I guarantee there is always something beautiful and intrinsically unique, worthy of a scrutinising eyeball. Dr Sarah has a literally perfect mouth (see our model posts - that's her!). Dr Ellie has the most naturally hilarious and quirky body language that makes me want to pick her up and hug her. Dr Melissa has the most genuine, huge and infectious warm grin and I've had some of my best belly laughs with her. Dr Zowie has that natural "hand elegance", and fine bone structure. Dr Caoimhe is always coiffed, petite and utterly flawless. Dr Natalie has an endearing vulnerability about the way she moves her face even though she's a total bad-ass. But they all can't hear my thoughts, and neither can you - even though they're all complimentary and so positive. Be kind to yourself today. I guarantee that at least 10 people are looking at you and thinking extraordinary things about you. It's true.

If you're under the age of 60, there's no doubt in my mind that you've probably had a full blown conversation about Kylie Jenner's lips. Everyone remembers exactly where they were when they first saw Kylie Jenner's lip fillers in full effect. You were perhaps sitting in a dark room binge-watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians and starting conspiracy threads in the group chat over the sudden size of Kylie's lips (Puberty? Plastic surgery? Maybe it was just allergies?), or saw it pop up on a social media explore page somewhere and said, "whhhhaaaaaaa?". Kylie later confirmed that she began using fillers at the age of 16 after revealing she had become insecure about her lips. You never know what insecurities you're feeding into with a nasty comment.  My own family teased me mercilessly about physical family traits, that really affected me during my teenage years and I would never, ever joke about this with my own precious daughters. Be careful what you say, even in jest. The lips that spawned a billion-dollar company and got millions of social media likes - what do they really look like away from IG? Super augmented lips almost never look natural, and have a thick rubbery appearance like the after of the above photo. They start to lose shape and definition, filler often migrates and spills outside of the vermilion border, skin tone is a little unnatural and stretched, and they don't taper correctly from the lateral aspect, so look a little "jokery". Of course, you may like this look, which is fine and no need to read further. However, most following us, don't. Be sure to pick a medic that will not only say when it's time to stop - but keeps you enhancing your look and not detracting from it.
