Tussar, With Love Exactly two weeks ago, Pooja and Dhwani Shah insisted that I visit Rajnikant Creations showroom in Chickpet. We abandoned the car for an auto, navigated the crowds, turned left at Cow 2 (Cow 1 was further up the road and apparently slightly less reliable as a landmark) and covered the final teeming few yards on foot. The showroom was up a short flight of stairs and as you can see from the second photo, it is the traditional type with thin mattresses laid out to display wares rather than a wooden counter. Pooja explained to me that while the family business had traditionally been run by male members of the family, she convinced her father that she too wanted to learn the ropes.
