Questa è la versione cartacea del mio primo romanzo. Un po' come un (primo) figlio, lo ami da morire ma ci sono comunque delle volte che ti fa andare fuori di testa. Lo so perché sono mamma. E nessun figlio è perfetto, nonostante io ci abbia messo tutta me stessa, ma personalmente le cose imperfette le trovo sempre migliori di quelle studiate ad hoc per piacere. Io non sono una che deve piacere alla gente, se vi piaccio bene se non vi piaccio fottesega. Si potrà scrivere fottesega? Comunque il mio romanzo è come me, se piace bene se non piace vuol dire che non era il romanzo per voi. ↬ RECENSIONE ⠀ #collaborazione con @helepaoli, “La figlia del cielo – La maga tessitrice” Prodotto fornito da @fanuccieditore Cartaceo: €18,00 EBook: €4,99 ⠀ Sarò schietta (e forse un po’ brutale): questo libro non mi è piaciuto. Bisogna indubbiamente riconoscere che l’idea alla base del romanzo sia davvero intrigante ed i riferimenti storici e mitologici alla cultura dell’antica Roma denotano la vasta cultura della giovanissima autrice; la sua scrittura è, inoltre, molto raffinata ed elegante e le tematiche trattate, profonde. Una storia, quindi, che si presenta in maniera molto originale, ma, come si suol dire “non è tutto oro ciò che luccica”. Ma prima di spiegare i motivi che mi hanno spinta a scrivere questa recensione negativa, voglio nuovamente porre l’accento sulla bravura della scrittrice: a prescindere dall’opera in questione, Helena Paoli possiede una fantasia illimitata e la sua conoscenza – tanto della lingua italiana quanto della storia e mitologia – è un fattore che salta subito all’occhio. Se si pensa, poi, che tutta questa preparazione sia racchiusa all’interno di una ragazza di soli 21 anni, la situazione è ancora più sorprendente. ⠀ Nonostante quanto sopraelencato, ammetto quindi di essere rimasta con l’amaro in bocca: non sono riuscita ad affezionarmi né ad entrare in sintonia con nessuno dei personaggi, se non forse con Hadrianus (di cui parlerò in seguito) ed Aracne, la più temuta fra le Tessitrici, di cui ho amato capitoli a lei dedicati. Troppo pochi, a mio parere, per farcela conoscere ed apprezzare davvero. La sua vicenda – strappata brutalmente dalla sua “famiglia”, relegata in un’isola dove costretta ad imparare l’arte e la magia delle Tessitrici, ribellatasi infine nel tentativo di salvare i sudditi dell’Impero – mi ha ricordato quella di Morgaine, la grande sacerdotessa di Avalon, figura mitologica appartenente al ciclo bretone, alla quale sono particolarmente legata; ed è forse questo il motivo per il quale sono entrata in empatia con Aracne. ⠀ D’altro canto, non mi sono affatto piaciuti né Aspasia, troppo passiva, si scuote dall’inerzia solo alla fine, (continuo sotto)

* Werbung unbezahlt * R E Z E N S I O N Leander Rose hat mein Herz berührt "Hoping for Mercy" ist eine Achterbahn der Gefühle. Es hat mich weinen und lachen lassen, wütend und glücklich gemacht. Es war eine wundervolle Lesezeit mit Mercy Mercy hatte sich eine wundervolle Familie gewünscht mit Noah und Elle an ihrer Seite. So sollte es aber nicht kommen. Noah wird gewalttätig, zeigt nicht den Hauch von Liebe oder Vatergefühlen. Ich habe von Anfang an mit Mercy gelitten, gebangt und gehofft. Sie ist eine starke junge Frau, super sympatisch und eine tolle Mutter für Elle. Sie war einfach wundervoll in ihrer ganzen Art und Weise! Ich bewunderte ihren Mut, ihren  Verlobten zu verlassen und sich ins Ungewisse zu stürzen. Ich fand die Handlung einfach großartig gelungen! Nicht zu viel Drama und doch passierte immer etwas neues und ich habe das Buch quasi inhaliert. Außerdem waren alle Protagonisten wirklich einzigartig und zeigten Charakter. Vor allem Kelsey fand ich unglaublich! Hart von außen und innen weich. Sehr interessante und geheimnisvolle Frau. Auch Theddy.. ach er war einfach toll und wirkte auf mich wie der Papa bzw. Großvater für alle. Ich habe ihn geliebt Und Elle war einfach herzlich. Ich mag kleine Kinder total und wenn sie dann noch in Büchern vorkommen schmilzt mein Herz nur dahin. Der Aufbau der neuen Liebesgeschichte mit Matt war grandios. Ich wollte stets wissen wie es mit beiden weitergeht und hing nur so an den Worten. Beide haben ihr neues Glück verdient!
