If you’re considering picking up the new @laneige_us lip balm during the Sephora sale I’m here to answer any questions and break it down for you ⁣ ⁣ I grabbed berry since that’s the original mask flavor (although it reminds me of bubble gum, anyone else?). It smells and feels exactly like the mask to me that it’s a lot thinner! People say it has a slight tint but looks like a clear gloss in my opinion. It’s definitely moisturizing but super light weight! Perfect for daily wear. ⁣Wears like any other gloss, transfers onto cups and needs to be reapplied but that’s not surprising! ⁣ My only complain is it’s quite small and I can see myself going through it super quickly, but other than that 10/10 from me! *adds to Sephora cart*⁣ #pinkwednesday #lipglowybalm

I feel like this week is crawling by but these everyday essentials make it feel just a bit easier - The Blockade heat defense serum is a new addition to my shelf and the first @amika product I’ve tried, and I’ve got to say that it’s really impressing me. I have a body wave perm so my hair is prone to drying out and breaking (even just from my blow dryer), but using this product protects my hair from heat, uv rays, and adds the most gorgeous shine. I’ve been eyeing the leave-in conditioner from this brand too so if anyone’s got an Amika discount code, drop it below please - The @supergoop Sun-Defying Sunscreen Oil is my LIFEEEEEE. This is my ride or die winter sunscreen, since I find it hydrating enough to take up both my sunscreen and facial oil step in my routine. It even smells like summer sunshine, so it’s extra nice to use when it’s cold out. However, I noticed that wearing this under make up in the summer makes my base products slide around so in the summer I only use this for my décolletage and also under moisturizer on my hands. PSA: I know everyone says to take extra special care of the skin on your face, neck, chest, but the skin on your hands can just as easily age you!!!! Think about how much we put our hands through on the daily: the sun exposure, the hot water from washing your hands, dishes, the blue light in a nail salon, etc. Take care of them and apply your sunscreen and hand cream!!!! - Speaking of handcream, my favorite is the @weleda_usa Skin food. I’ve heard a lot of people saying they use this as a moisturizer, primer, or sleeping mask but i personally find it too thick and too slow to absorb to use this on my face. Sometimes I apply a bit of Skin Food over an eye cream/serum if they’re looking dry, but only at night. Putting a new setting mist to the test this week✨✨The @farsalicare Rose Gold setting mist✨✨ If you’ve seen any of my most recent makeup reviews, you’ll know that the @anatasiabeverlyhills Dewy Set mist is probably my favorite setting sprayI couldn’t resist picking up the Rose Gold mist during the #sephorasale and so far I am liking it! I was hesitant to try this at first because I have combo skin and was afraid it would feel oily on the skin which it doesn’t. It has a bit of tackiness to it, more than ABH but nothing crazy. It also removes any powdery-ness and really feels like it locks everything down. The bottle is made of glass and is absolutely gorgeous but it makes me nervous to travel around with it lolI do enjoy the faint orangesiclescent but it does dissipate right away unlike another setting spray I used last week (Kylie I’m looking at you). These are just my first impressions so we’ll see how it holds up for the rest of the week. Happy Monday!✨
