✨P L A C E N T A✨ . When @goalstogetglowing and I were writing our Beauty and the Bank series for BR I had just purchased this and wasn’t ready for a full review. Fast forward to today and this is in my top 3 BR serums no questions asked. . I wasn’t sure I needed this when I initially read it was primarily for post-acne scarring and dark circles. I waited months and kept reading up on it after it being continually recommended for me at various online locations. It wasn’t until I read that this was great for post exfoliation or used alongside retinol treatments that I took notice. As we know, my skin isn’t a fan of exfoliating and routinely acts out. By routinely I should have said used to, because I haven’t had a single sign of overexfoliated skin since I started using this. I’ve even been able to use P50V twice a week which is big for me. . I use this nightly after an essence, before my hydrating serum. It smells like straight up manure and I hate it. My skin, however, loves it. I’ve noticed decreased redness, more even skin tone, stronger barrier function, and happier skin. I’m so happy to have this. . Who else loves this? Two new loves in my beauty fam and one old. Necklace is my older love and it’s from @bluebillie ✨ It’s actually the only necklace I ever wear. I bought this some years ago and when I got my dog who I named Luna, so it’s got a special meaning to me. Luna means moon in Italian so I love wearing this as it reminds me of her, my little moon ⊚ The two new loves in the pictures are from my favorite skincare brand @biologique_recherche and I have to say it again - I’ve never been disappointed with how good this skincare brand is. My skin has never looked better as when I’ve used a whole range of products from them. Creme Dermopurifiante is no exception. It’s hydrating yet light on the skin and gives a slightly matte feeling to it. Perfect for summer when I get a little more oily. It’s got fruit acids, yeast, Vitamin b3, vinegar and onion to help regulate sebum production and it’s anti-inflammatory. With other words perfect for my skin. What I love more is that it also has Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid that hydrates and helps achieve a glowy complexion. The Gentle Retinol Night Serum is my first retinol. I’ve been using this twice a week and I can’t believe I haven’t tried any of her products before. It’s so amazing, my skin is getting brighter and I can definitely see a change.
