Happy Friday from our little boy Josh! This Maltese-x was rescued from the North Central shelter after being turned-in broken and in pain. We scooped him up and had his pelvic injury surgically repaired. He had a substantial recovery period but made it through the hardest part with flying colors. Josh is still working to get back to his best self - gaining strength and better mobility. Update! Sorry, it has taken me so long to update everyone about sweet girl, Bambina. As you can see, she is totally being spoiled and in her element! She is fitting in well with her new family which includes her favorite- kids! She also has several doggie brothers and sisters and is doing great with them too. She of course is still having some anxiety, especially around inanimate objects like flower pots. Her new caregiver @cmnieves954 runs an amazing rescue @animalluvrsdreamrescue and works from home, so luckily Bambina is never really crated. She often gets to go on adventures and adoption events to help other animals saved from the shelter find homes. She gets to sleep with one of the kids nightly which of course she loves. She is currently on a CBD but unfortunately havent seen any effects. She will be getting some componded especially for her. We plan on visiting her (and giving her, her old wardrobe) as soon as we can By the way, Bam is wearing @lucyand.co ! For National Pet Day, they will be donating all of the proceeds to @animalluvrsdreamrescue (Bam's new owner's rescue) to continue to save medically needy shelter pets

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY! Remember Gotti? This handsome boy spent about two years at our shelter looking for a forever home. He became a staff favorite, and it was upsetting for everyone to see such a loving dog stuck at the shelter for so long. Finally, he found someone willing to foster, and after a few months, it became a FOSTER FAIL! Gotti's foster just couldn't imagine him being with anyone else and decided to officially adopt him. As you can see, he's now incredibly loved and has an amazing life!
