Unity Farm Sanctuary most often is in the position to rescue mature, or elderly, farm animals. In this rare instance, fate has brought little Wallace the Red to us, a three week old Highland bullcalf. He vigorously enjoys his bottles of milk replacer. We will never know why he was separated from his mother so young but we will give him all the love in the world to try and make it up to him. He is clear of the pneumonia he had when he arrived and us beginning to explore the outdoor world here.

My new Uncle Jimmy’s Boredom Buster Ball is verra entertaining. I like to use my horns to play a little but they are handy too for keeping the ball where I want it. Maybe I could learn to play volleyball next Soccer? Have a mooooovelous Friday my friends

I had a surprise for my Dad when he visited today! I have a new little buddy Wallace! He is a red Highland, and while I was lucky and got to be with my mom when I was a baby, Wallace did not. I am enjoying being a big brother!
