Shed open and ready for business Summer 2019... think our Bob likes it ♥️♥️♥️

It’s finally been good enough weather & dried up around here for me to get photos....So, let me discuss my greenhouse aka she shed.... my husband started the structure for an amazing Christmas gift. Let me just say that when I first mentioned building a greenhouse he turned his nose up & said “NO WAY... I don’t like them”. And, me being me, I showed him ideas... “Look how cute, we can make it look like our mini house, etc” I eventually gave up & decided I’ll just start building it one day & he will just have to deal To my surprise HE was trying to throw me off bc apparently I’m super hard to buy for ‍♀️ And, let me tell you I was in tears when I saw it. He listened (FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER...EVER......EVER) to everything I said. I was in awe.... let me tell you, my cup runneth over! Once, he felt he had done his job, I of course, took over. From the siding, the Dutch door to the shelving & furniture inside. I had so much fun creating this little baby. Which we now call the “She Shed” bc well, it makes us laugh So, with that little background of not only having my very own space to let my obsession hit full bloom, I was so surprised probably for the first time in my life & I get to work out details of our house we will design...this is a mini- model so to speak.... The roof is sheeted w/clear corrugated-polycarb plastic roof panels. The windows were actually given to me by a friend from an old house, so they are 100% vintage. The siding is cedar fence posts. The structure is treated pine wood. The Dutch door, which I’ve always wanted one, was custom made & painted by me. I then built all the shelves, tore apart an old dresser & repurposed a work bench to my potting bench. I love how a lot of the things with this refurbished materials. But most of all, it’s my very own little space ALL TO MYSELF... and, my of course ☝Yes, I know the top right siding is in need of repair but a little bird decided to build a nest on the inside so I cannot fix it until the eggs hatch. A few things I want to share today before I start photographing some new pretties for my cottage shop. First, this mirror my sister spotted for me from a distance with her 20/20 vision is now my favorite mirror. I have never seen one like it! It was so fun to go junking with her because she packed things in my little cart for me and pushed the loaded cart around like a boss! . Second thing I want to share is all three of my handmade junk journals together before one gets shipped off to its new cozy home. This new hobby has completely taken over my life (and my dining room) I made journal number three for a special friend on here that inspired me to make my first journal. If you watch my stories, then you know who it is. She loves vintage florals and lives in a Tudor cottage. First person to guess correctly will receive a curated pack of botanical pages, fabrics and trims to help you get started on making your own junk journal! . Happy Monday, friends! This is my little planner oasis, my shed shed, my planner place, my babe cave, my b***h cave (depends on my mood lol). We just completed this in February. It was a plain shed with just the walls and plywood floors. Me and my husband transformed it into my little getaway. That counter space tho! PLENTY of planning room! And even drop-leaf tables on the other wall that I can pop up and have even more room to plan or craft.
