- RESET YOUR ROUTINE - • As you can see from my bio, I have an acne-prone, sensitive skin. Since January, my skin started to break out, with no clear reason why Frustrated, desperate, and tired with my routine, I decided to cut it short, on a whim. • Lo, and behold! Instead of getting worse, my skin gets better! It's not drastic, but I can definitely see the improvement. This reminds me of @aboutliahyoo tips: minimal/simple routine can be the solution when your skin is irritated/breaking out. So, I'm going to share you my shortened routine • FIRST CLEANSER | I use either @bentoncosmetic Tea Tree Cleansing Water* or @heimish_korea All Clean Balm**, depending on the day. ⬇ SECOND CLEANSER | I use either @nubianheritage African Black Soap or @sensatia_botanicals Unscented Soapless Facial Cleanser** ⬇ TONER (Only if I'm using active) | I use @thayersnatural Witch Hazel Toner in Unscented. ⬇ ACTIVE (Only once every two days) | I use @cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. ⬇ ESSENCE | I use my favorite @bentoncosmetic Snail Bee High Content Essence I apply two pumps of this. ⬇ MOISTURIZER | I prefer gel-type moisturizer, such as @bentoncosmetic Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel. ⬇ EXTRA HYDRATION (Only if I'm using active) | I use lots of @naturerepublic_kr Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel, and slather it all over my face (also acts as a sleeping pack). • I only use 4 products if I'm not doing active. Here, I don't want to discourage you guys to stop using lots of products. In fact, I think that is the wonderful part of Korean routine But, we sometimes need to step back and re-evaluate our routine: are we using these products because they're beneficial to our skin? Or do we just want to indulge ourselves?
