There have been news all around the world about Skinfood's financial problems and stock shortages. I've been wanting to try a few of Skinfood's mask variants and this particular one had the most postive feedbacks so I got it. It's in a very cute packaging, sort of like a little ice cream tub. The product itself has a rich brown, waxy consistency that is pretty packed with the sugar crystals. The scent is like a hybrid of lemon and soda and it just smells so delicious. I've been using this once a week for 3 months now and I'm still left with 90% of the product. Now, I do think that the product in itself is a bit abrasive for me even with oily and resistant skin since it is pretty packed with the sugar granules, but the pressure you put on your wrists and fingers when applying is what would really determine if it's gentle enough or not. Also, my skin must be damp when putting this on because its hard to spread when my skin is completely dry. I also don't like the fact that it does not come with a spatula. However, it rinses easily and I can really feel that my skin is really nourished within the 10 minutes that I have this on. It makes my face brighter and smoother and it removes those pesky little bumps. I use this on my lips as a lip scrub too! But be careful though, because it tastes really bitter even though it's sugar . This is definitely on my HG list although lately, I've been reading about this "anything that's abrarsive is bad for your skin" thing and it made me think twice about this product. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‼️Continued in the comments section...‼️

Its divine⁣ melts into your skin ; its not too harsh, super perf for my sensi skin⁣ (Sorry na but I super love this scrub !! Love this more than my other scrubs, I dont have anything bad to say about it, it doesn’t seem to irritate my skin ; this is my ULTIMATE go to scrub⁣ ⁣ Exfoliating is important to slaugh away dead skin cells so its a must to have that scrub/exfoliator that will be your best friend! Claims: It is a sheet mask that tightly clings radiance and builds up a sturdy protective barrier on dry skin with the power of more enriched propolis . Notable Ingredients: Water, Propolis Extract, Honey Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Lactobacillus Ferment, Ceramide. . Price: $3.00 according to theskinfood.us and I bought it for 150PHP . Verdict: /. No scent, unlike on other Honey masks that you can smell the sweetness of the mask. Consistency of the essence is somewhat sticky liquid. Let it on for about 20-25 minutes and it felt goooood! Still a bit tacky but I know the mask claims its purpose. Definitely advisable for all skintypes, unless you’re allergic to honey/propolis.

New Year Favorites (recently-tried skincare products I did not expect to love): ❤️ @innisfreeofficial Green Tea Seed Serum - I was wondering whether I was going to like this product because although it is known as a cult favorite, the poll I posted here in my stories got a 50/50 result. Some of you loved it, while some of you didn't. I'm with the group that loved it I thoroughly enjoy using this serum, firstly, because of its refreshing scent (I know some of you don't like fragrance in your skincare, so this might be a turnoff for you; personally, though, I'm fine with it), and secondly because of its amazing hydrating and nourishing effects. My skin immediately looks and feels healthier whenever I use this serum. Well it is quite concentrated with 86.9% green tea extract (no. 1 on the ingredient list) so that probably explains it. I already added the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Oil on my wish list because I remember also liking it after using a sample. Both would probably work better together ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❤️ @skinfood_official Tomato Whitening Essence - This was gifted to me by fiancé last Christmas along with the Shiseido eyelash curler. Whenever he buys me skincare or makeup, he asks for recommendations from his female friends or from store assistants, and so far he has always gotten it right For instance, this Skinfood Tomato Essence has been a staple in my skincare routines because it really works! The brightening effect is instant, but I have yet to find out if it would also lighten my acne scars with continued use. Aside from the 30% tomato extract (second on the ingredient list), it also contains two of my favorite skincare ingredients: vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) and ferment filtrate (in this case, it's Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate Filtrate) It doesn't absorb as quickly as the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum, but it's not too heavy for my oily skin, either.
