Sometimes it’s important to look at the bigger picture.... (excuse the pun ) I find it so crazy how much weight-loss changes your face shape! I know my losses have slowed because let’s face it, it’s hard having lots of social things on & nights out and trying to still lose weight! Between christenings, communions, confirmations, birthdays, bbq’s, brunches, day drinking, divorce parties () you name it, it’s been happening over the last few weeks! but the important thing is to get back on plan as soon as possible & chip away.... I know how far I’ve come & how I’m never going back to that girl on the right, who was unhappy and liked to fade into the background at social events, or, not bother going to them in the first place for fear of people talking of how big I had gotten... I know nobody probably gave a shite but that’s where my self-esteem & self-confidence was at. Well well well! This morning was my first weigh in since re joining Slimming World last Friday. I had to weigh in a day early as I’m working all day tomorrow. I lost 8 pounds and got my half stone award This week has reminded me how wonderful the Slimming World plan is, how well it can help me when I give it my all, and how much better I feel in myself when I’m eating well and staying in control! Hello all This morning I took a deep breath and walked into a brand new Slimming World group, with a brand new start weight and membership. I am super proud of the weight I have lost in the past , and thankful that although I have gained some of that back , I am still no where near the weight that I was when I started in 2015. It has been a fab few months getting married , going on honeymoon, going on various trips to London and the south of Ireland. I’ve started a brand new job which I love. Amongst all of this busyness I have completely let myself go with my healthy eating , and know in myself that I need the structure and commitment of Slimming World! I have gained weight quickly since April. My clothes feel really tight and I just don’t feel like myself at all. It has taken a lot of consideration but I know I’m making the right decision for me. ⭐️SELF LOVE SUNDAY⭐️ This is my own Sunday night reminder that I can and I will! I’ve come such a long way and one little blip in the road won’t take back the 7.5 stone I’ve already lost! A post gym workout pic and a before picture which was taken in July 2017 when I couldn’t imagine ever being able to do anything remotely active! I burnt in that ring in the pool too because I got stuck and didn’t want to attempt getting out in front of others in the pool! ❤️⭐️ . . ⭐️I think I’d forgotten this week that it hasn’t always been easy - there have been lots of highs but also lots of lows because weight loss is hard!
