There were so many dimensions to her voice, and the added richness and chocolaty flavor—combined with the tasteful darkness of her 1994 voice—gave her a distinctive, velvety tone that we all know and love. The globally treasured tone to her voice was forgiving, such that any song she covered, no matter what era, ALWAYS sounded incredible.
