Playing the role of a stitching agent! Through my @samsdraftingboard Design workshop, I try to share my little experiences and the way I m dealing with the science and art of the subject of design in the current market scenario. I started these workshops in 2016 after realising its a complete different world when you step out in the profession and it is the need to speak up to raise awareness regarding the same. Plus '' what is a concept and how to derive it! " is a question I have been asked since my college days. I m glad to announce today that after working for two and a half months on just preparing this study module, it has benefited the students in so many ways. Be it getting clarity over the subject of concept or how to make your ideas tangible. Be it to learn to be inquisitive and participative or to learn more about your ownself, or be it understanding of the core reality of the current scenario with the profession and understanding what area of design one would want to work at and so many of such untouched theories.... Through my real stories and some of the other inspiring stories that inspire me to keep moving ahead in life... We make sure we are learning with a lot of fun in the house during the course of this workshop. After getting to exchange my little experience with about 250 students so far... I cannot wait to explore this opportunity and continue to do my bit that I feel for this profession. Instead of fighting depression, we feed it. That's where the problem arrives. Being overweight all my life dint really make a difference to me until I started developing heath issues. I started at 85Kgs and came down to 59Kgs in a span of 7-8 Months. Dropping 26Kgs was a result of Yoga, Functional Training and Zumba along with adopting healthy eats habits consistently. It definitely required a lot of dedication and patience and a significant change in lifestyle. It was difficult, yes. But it was definitely worth it. People kept telling me to throw these clothes away, I couldn't. I just couldn't. People who've known me from my flying days know exactly what this means for me. I'm bawling my eyes out but I've not been this happy in the longest. I fuckin did it. 10 years and 27kgs later, I actually made it here. I used to keep looking at people's before after pictures and kept wondering how will I ever do it. 30 kgs seemed like a mountain. I was perpetually yo yo-ing with the weight but never could go all the way. Keto helped Big time and so did my will power to keep pushing.
