Just feels more comfortable. That being said, it's nice to finally possess the confidence to put myself on the other side of the lens once in a while. I felt cute today, and I was totally in my creative element , which encouraged higher confidence. Was a fun, silly, lovely, day... The mountains are calling and I must go. Blessed to be able to manage, create, & implement all extracurricular student activities, events, & programming for the same school district that was the soil to everything I’ve grown to be. _______ Having no doubt that @abevyinc was the path for my purpose, I sometimes wondered exactly where it would take me. As a DJ, #Studio345 teaching artist, public speaker, graphic designer, working with weddings & events, or as Executive Director of A.Bevy —— certain commonalities shined through in all these titles: the ability to create, bring people together, & educate. _______ I would like to thank Dr. Stephen Peters for, through A.Bevy, recognizing & believing in my ability to design experiences that are not only exciting, above standard, & effective - but also creative, introspective, & inspiring. As District Student Activities Coordinator I promise to give my all in providing avenues for hope in replacement for all of the times I witnessed & personally grew up in doubt. I’m thankful for the opportunity to have my 1st ever “real job” - one that aligns with my passion, path, & purpose - but even more grateful for the opportunity to assist the youth in my hometown in discovering their truths just the same. #JerZWater
