There's nothing quite as good as chubby baby cheeks framed by a bonnet, especially @amberdenae 's sweet Eloise. But when it's the LINING of a bonnet, for me, it's even better. You guys appreciate the time I take to line these bonnets with beautiful vintage florals, upcycled materials & donated yard goods. It means SO MUCH to me! I want to take the time to go over what enables me to make a bonnet reversible, just so we can all be on the same page with Saturdays release. . I try my very best to make all of my bonnets reversible but not all of them are. When working with preloved & vintage fabric sometimes the materials do not lend themselves to having printed or even solid colored linings. If the fabric is too thin the lining could show through & change the color of the actual bonnet. If the outer material is too thick I have to pick a thin cotton to line the bonnet so it still fits well... I could go on and on with the factors that go into how I design a bonnet. But, for the most part, I try to make all of the lace, cotton (meaning not embroidered ones) & brimmed bonnets reversible. We're lining them anyways, might as well save more textiles from waste & make them pretty! If the linings are something that interests you, Thursday at 10 am EST I will be doing a live stream where I lay out all of the bonnets, chat about linings, sizing, materials, the website & anything else you guys may want to ask me (within reason!) . I love doing the live stream. We get to hang out for an hour or so, chat about what I love doing, you guys love bonnets & we all love each other. It's a big bonnet love party. There are some beautiful linings for this release. As my following grows my "remote thrifters" are many which means I get some pretty stellar donations. You're all so passionate about saving this world from textile waste with me, the donations I get sent are out of this world. I pinch myself wondering if it's a dream as I go through those mail bins. It's what I love about this business of mine. You're not just my customers but you all have a hand in making these bonnets come to life. It's pure magic & I couldn't be any more grateful for everyone's contributions ✨

I just want to give a huge shoutout to this beautiful woman. She has been killing the mommy game while I’ve been gone. Every day she has a fun new adventure planned with the little guy.
