The Tacara wasn’t my only boxy, shapeless make of the weekend—I also made this @tessutifabrics #athinatop! I used a kind of strange, heavy yarn dyed silk noil from a flea market which gives the shirt an almost sweater-like feel. I made the XS, cropped it three inches from the short length, and did a 2 1/2” hem. I also added a CB & CF seam, which took 2” total out of the body and neck. I wasn’t sure at first, but it’s super comfy and I bet it will actually get a lot of wear! Oh, and swipe to see the little tag I made using one of my machine’s embroidery stitches.
