Using our @rockitrocker, Shay played on the playground while Rome slept in the stroller! I have recently become uncomfortably aware that I tend to be an all or nothing kind of gal. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, extremely competitive and stubborn as all hell. If I commit - Im going all in, and typically setting the bar for myself at a (lets face it) unattainable level. Do I also tend to *over* commit? Absofriggenlutely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Want to read more books this year? Not 10, not 25 - Im going to read 100. Want to get in better shape? Sign me up to be the next American Ninja Warrior. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And when I (obviously) don't make these dreams a reality - I tell myself I'm not good enough and I need to work harder. Shame spiral - party of 1 ‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A gal I follow recently asked - what’s the one thing holding you back from taking that next step. Mine always has, and always will be “I’m not good enough.” But seriously... WHAT IS ENOUGH. When will we accept that OUR best really is THE best and that no one will ever judge us as harshly as we judge ourselves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re like me, can we make a pact and say f*ck it to perfection?
