It sounds daunting but in fact it’s the best way to guarantee a bright and even-textured complexion. Also, the product itself is blood red, which is alarming . Skin peeling is essentially the deepest form of exfoliation. Using an acid peel means that you rejuvenate far further than with a scrub containing beads. Also, crucially, the beads contained in exfoliants are often non-degradable and incredibly harmful to the environment . “Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) exfoliate the skin's topmost surface for a brighter and more even appearance. Beta hydroxy acids (BHA) exfoliate the skin with an extended function to help clear pore congestion. This combined solution offers deeper exfoliation to help fight visible blemishes and for improved skin radiance. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture and reduces the look of fine lines with continued use.” . This should be used once a week really - peeling is not a daily thing. I put it on before an event or when my skin is lacking that squeaky healthy glow. Apply to dry, cleansed skin. Certainly avoid the eye area. I get a nice tingle and leave it on for 10 minutes. These are 2 of my favorites @theordinaryskincare.co_ Retinol 0.2% in Squalane It is a highly-stable water free solution of pure retinol!! This clinically formulated oil visibly targets textural irregularities and signs of aging. And is under $10!! Apply a small amount to face in the PM as a regular part of your skincare regimen, AFTER water based serums but BEFORE heavier treatments or creams. Do not use with any other retinoids. . The next one is @theordinaryskincare.co_ Alpha Arbutin 2%+HA This one is fantastic at treating hyperpigmentation which I suffer from And dark spots. Apply a few drops in the AM and PM as part of your skincare routine this one has shown results in less than 2 weeks of use and is under $15!!! How amazing is that? I unfortunately stayed in the tanning bed for years, and my face suffered. It has some hyperpigmentation that thanks to these, is DISAPPEARING!!! .
