LAURA MARANO!! Literally one of my favorite people, not just work people, but PEOPLE people! She’s the best. We met in 2016 when she asked me to direct her first music video to her first single BOOMBOX (I’ll link it on my story) and this past fall she asked me to direct the first single off her EP ME (I’ll also link in my story) but I don’t adore her just because she keeps asking me to direct videos for her, I adore her because she is the sweetest, kindest, most hardworking, appreciative artist ever. EVE!!! I mean a hip hop superstar! One of the first to really crossover into pop music and helped paved the way for a lot of the artists today. The cool thing about meeting artists who have been in the game so long, is that they are often super humble, sweet and kind. Eve was no exception! Though on this one, the robot malfunctioned! Not in a bad way, just didn’t fire lol. But we all laughed it off and then she killed it as expected!! ALSO Thank you so much for the nice words! BEBE REXHA!! What a dress! I mean imagine walking down the red carpet carrying your dress in front of you like that, and I had the audacity to ask her to move it! She was like “DO YOU SEE THIS THING?!” Haha. She was ready to give it her best shot! I had the chance to shoot her at the People’s Choice Awards, but this moment at the Grammy’s was just outstanding. Unfortunately, I’m not in the edit room so I don’t know what happened to the first take, but the second one is pretty perfect! So fun shooting you Bebe, let’s do it again!
