❃ ᴄᴜʀɪᴏsɪᴅᴀᴅᴇs ❃ . . . →Apesar de receptivo para alguns, os quadrinhos nem sempre foram um lugar mt amigável para vários grupos sociais, num geral a população LGBTQI+ ñ existe nas histórias em quadrinhos, quando existem, suas representações são equivocadas. Felizmente, tal panorama tem mudado, e nos últimos anos as HQS se tornaram bem mais diversas. Apesar disso, o “T” da sigla “LGBT” ainda é mt pouco presente nas comics. O objetivo deste post é analisar a história de personagens trans nas hqs norte-americanas e frisar a importancia da representatividade no meio geek . . . → Anos 40/50/60 ➠ Como já é de se imaginar, nessa época ñ existiam personagens assumidamente trans nas hqs (nem em outras mídias). No entanto, existiam alguns personagens que causavam uma certa identificação para leitorxs trans. Geralmente eram metamorfos, alienígenas, mágicos, robôs etc. Um exemplo é o vilão da Era de Ouro Ultra-Humanite, que transportou seu cérebro para o corpo de uma mulher . . . → ⛈ Anos 70/80/90 ➠ Na HQ clássica da Dc Comics “Camelot 3.000” temos Sir Tristan, um dos cavaleiros do Rei Arthur que reencarna num corpo feminino. Aqui percebemos melhor o quão problemática foi e ainda é a representação de pessoas trans nas HQS. Tristan é um homem trans, porém não temos isso explícito e provavelmente a intenção do escritor, Mike Barr, ñ era essa. Outros personagens notáveis que de fato ajudaram para a representação trans nas comics são de “Doom Patrol”, estou falando de Rebis e Coagula. A segunda foi criada por Rachel Pollack -também tans- que teve grande influência de Grant Morrison e sua criação “Rebis”, personagem intersex. Em entrevista para o blog Autostraddle, Pollack conta que criar uma personagem assim como ela é de grande mérito e frisa a importância de discutir temas tabus nas hqs. “Sandman”, de Neil Gaiman, também teve sua importância para a história dos personagens trans, no arco “Um jogo de você” temos Wanda, mulher trans que é amiga da protagonista da história ᴄᴏɴᴛɪɴᴜᴀ ɴᴏs ᴄᴏᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʀɪᴏs ↷ #transvisibility
