Wow the past few days have been rough on me as a mom. I've had two babies with the flu and one with a horrible stomach virus. I definitely prefer moments such as this one, playing together at the zoo. But being a mom is taking the good with the bad. The other day Kurt and I were doing some housework (hello @mariekondo) when I looked over at Hāna and saw something brown on the floor. We got it picked up quickly and then I noticed more inside her boot... the same boot she had on her foot. Still not sure how that went down. . I’ve heard stories and feel lucky this was the first time such events have occurred! But more than anything I was thankful we have a safe cleaner to use. We sprayed a lot of sprays in that chaotic 10 minute span (she went running) and we didn’t have to open a window or worry about washing bleach off of her. We could all breathe great and no one sneezed or got a headache. But even more important than that, we were all protected from long-term cellular, respiratory and hormone damage among other things. .
