Mom's talk to me! Since Kingston will be turning one soon, I'm beginning the weaning process. I don't really have a precise game plan but that's what I'm doing. Why? Because I want to #dontcomeforme My goal was to breastfeed for a year, and if it goes a little after I'm okay with that. I'm just not going to be actively trying to produce, pump, and keep up with a nursing schedule after a year. So now I'm in the prep stage ready to see what step I want to take next. Toddler formula or go straight to introducing milk - gradually over several weeks and add a vitamin supplement. With Samson plant/nut based milk was a poopy nightmare. We ended up going with lactose free, and He's done well with it. I've also been very big about him taking vitamins to make up for lost nutrients due to being a picky eater. Sure calcium can be derived from leafy veggies, oranges, white beans, etc. But I still want a drink option - not pediasure. Sooooo what did/do you use? Have you heard of or tried any of these that I found at my local Health Food store? And yes I'll discuss with our Pediatrician, but I'm a research, review junkie and I like to have options to discuss. ❤
