Strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't ✧ Nothing wakes you up more than a twenty minute hike in the freezing dark to watch the sun rise. However when the sun rose and we were rewarded by this view and we definitely woke up fully! The Sun rays gradually moved across the terrain filling all the valleys and cliffs with light from horizon to horizon. It was only then that we could truly appreciate the view before us and the grand scale of the landscape! Ollie seriously stared and stared, just as amazed at the everyday natural phenomena as us. However we underestimated just how cold it would be and had to hurry back to the car to defrost ❄️ ✧ Wheres the coldest place you have ever been? Jaipur Diaries : Recently on our trip to Udaipur We stayed for a day at Jaipur at @thelalitjaipur where this little dude was seen carrying his luggage around himself. And so many of you saw him doing that on my stories and you guys went all Aww well it It is Aww how he does that. I always pack a separate bag and a back pack for him and he loves to carry it around. He won’t even let the ushers carry it for him . But the reason why we stayed at Jaipur was because we wanted to take a break in between our journey (by road) to Udaipur. One important lesson I learnt when A was a baby was never to plan long stretches of a journey with a child. Of course we could have driven from Delhi to Udaipur in a single stretch. But we don’t do that with our A. Its almost an 10/11 hour journey and we don’t prefer to stress him out that much. Though he does sleep most of his way in the car yet we always ensure that while travelling his actual travel time at a stretch is as less as possible, barring long flights over which we don’t have much control. So we chose to break our journey and took a stop for a day at Jaipur on our way back and at Pushkar while going. . We have been traveling since he was 5 month old & we have also taken quite a few road trips with baby A in tow. There are a few tips that I find useful while travelling by road with a baby and I have written those down on the blog.
