It’s the only photo of us from Hanoi. Thought I was doing this fancy favor for myself by booking a mini French-inspired apartment airbnb with a jacuzzi in the bedroom, but it’s ended up feeling kinda isolated. This is us making the best of it, which we are really good at doing. My little girl turned 2 yesterday, but we’ve been so slayed with jet lag that I didn’t take any photos or really even think of posting. We’re currently in Mexico City, where it’s cold and rainy, with Grandma, having some family time. We did a casual dinner last night in a cool part of Mexico City with friends and family and it felt really nice to be home. What can I say for Luna on her second birthday? She’s a really special kid and I feel really lucky to be her mom. Being home is bitter sweet as usual, a mix of familiarity and fight or flight. The usual. Be we always seem to make lemonade no matter what. #happysecondbirthday

THIS GIRL IS TOO MUCH FUN! ❤️❤️ - We drove through Sete Cidades yesterday, a really gorgeous area on the west side of Sao Miguel island. After stopping a few times for some photos we got Whitney out of her car seat and let her run around for a while. It was so cute watching her run up and down this road with THE BIGGEST SMILE on her face! She is so fun to watch and is constantly making us laugh check out our stories for more close up photos of her running and jumping
