#SoldeJaneirogiftedme a bundle of their hand and foot creams, perfect as it warms up and become summer here in the city. I’ve only recently tried my first @soldejaneiro product, the Açaí Body Power Cream (I got it as a @fabfitfun add-on for ~50% off, which was definitely worth it). But these are the first Sol products I’ve tried with their famous caramel / pistachio / vanilla scent! I love fragranced body products, and these truly smell like summer. Typically (read: in the office) I wear more muted, floral scents, but this is heavy sweet and spicy fragrant - a weekend treat for sunny days. Brazilian Touch Hand Cream ✨ I love the scent of this, but typically look for thicker hand creams, especially coming out of a long winter this year. My hands are dry all the time, so I love rich creams that take a while to sink in. This is totally different, a light coat that sinks in immediately, leaving my skin soft and smelling wonderful, but I personally need another application within an hour or two. I think this will be a great summer option, but right now New York is still a bit dry and chilly. (This is a really similar consistency to the L’Occitane floral hand creams, though I like this scent much more) Samba Foot Fetish Cream ✨ is the true standout here. This is definitely thicker than the hand cream, but still light enough that it only needs a minute or two to absorb. I was initially skeptical that this would hydrate my heels, but was pleasantly surprised by how soft (and fragrant!) my feet were after this. It also comes with a tiny surfboard foot file, for a two-step routine. Seriously, so baby soft. Overall, I enjoyed this bundle, and will definitely be using the foot cream regularly, and the hand cream later this summer. What are your favorite Sol products? Hello. I’m back again after having my 5th quarter-life crisis ♥️ 〰️ Life has been so rocky the past month or so. I’ve been mentally down but started tackling my demons by doing guided meditation and learning Japanese via DuoLingo. 〰️ Along with my depression, my acne started acting back up again. Love that for me . I found that after using the Coola Mineral Sun Silk Creme, I’ve been getting a lot of clogged pores and zits. - Some things I’ve been using: @bioreus (JP) Aqua Rich Sunscreen | Started using this but holy crap, it’s fragranced af. I’m going to stick with the original after this is finished. The packaging is also kinda flimsy. @patchology Lip Service | Gifted by @glossybox_us . This stuff is so good. It’s really balmy and kinda absorbs into your lips while leaving a nice layer of minty hydration. It’s really thick, which I personally like. Haven’t used it as a gloss yet bc I don’t like mixing lip stick with gloss @vdlus Lumilayer Primer* | I’ve been mixing this with my tint bc of @iiroshnii and it gives the most amazing glow. My only complaint is that there’s no pump and the opening is really small @neogen_global Joan Day & Joan Night Cream | I’ve remember seeing Joan Day (on YT) mention her product collab with Neogen. I haven’t tested it out yet because I don’t want to break out even more but I’m excited to try! This was gifted by @akoco_official 〰️ There’s so many new products I want to try but can’t. The only thing I switch out regularly is makeup, which I also accumulated a lot of newness . I posted one on favorite skincare on Tuesday if you missed it. . • @nudestix Nudies Bronze in Sunkissed | I’m not the first person to rave about the new Nudestix shade Sunkissed, and I know I won’t be the last. It is one of the most perfect summer shades ever, somewhere in between a blush and a bronzer. The shade is a warm terra-cotta blush that gives the most perfect “back from vacation” complexion. It’s creamy but long lasting, and its fail proof to use like all of their cream face products. • @nudestix Magnetic Nude Glimmer Highlighter in Bronzi Babe | I’m honestly surprised more people don’t talk about these. This is an all purpose illuminating product that’s great for highlighting your cheekbones and also acting as glowy eyeshadow base. It doesn’t stay tacky or wet and has great staying power. I fully intend on picking up the other 2 shades! • @lilahbeauty Marvelous Matte Crème Foundation in b.pure | I did not expect to love this, and yet I can’t stop wearing this foundation. It says matte in the name, but it’s more natural and it’s definitely not drying. I’m obsessed with how easy the application is, and how natural my skin looks when I’m wearing this. I truly look and feel like I’m not wearing any makeup, yet you can build up coverage to about medium without looking cakey. I hope they expand the shade range because I think this would be suitable for so many. • @milkmakeup Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 in Honey | I knew I’d love this immediately. It’s a tinted moisturizer with an oil base, and it promises dewy radiant skin with a quick rollerball applicator. It’s super easy to swipe on and offers the perfect amount of coverage for everyday. It’s like the Glossier Skin Tint if it had coverage, or the Kosas Tinted Face Oil if it was much dewier. • @cledepeaubeauteus Radiant Corrector for Eyes in Ochre | I love using this when I don’t feel the need for a heavy concealer, but I do want slight under eye brightening to make me look more refreshed and awake. • @kosascosmetics LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm (*gifted) | I use this lip balm almost everyday because it feels so hydrating.
