Here’s my Sunday châteaux dump! Why am I dumping all these châteaux in your feed you may ask? . . . It’s because I’m off to Vanuatu and it’s time to change from FANCYPANTS France “let me wear my flower dress today” mode to “I’m not quite sure how long it has been since I washed this shirt” mode. . . I like both modes equally fine. To tell you the truth most of the time I’m in pajama mode on my couch. Sometimes people complain about how Instagram misrepresents reality by people only presenting the “best” or “most impressive” moments of their lives. To tell you the truth I love travel sooo much but it’s not the full picture of my life. Some of my best moments aren’t in front of castles or in faraway countries. My best moments come in times of personal growth or happiness with friends and family. . . I’m so exited to go to Oceania, but I admit I’ve been a bit unsure of my relationship with this app lately. I think I’ll still post while I’m on the road but I’m looking forward to completely disconnecting and focusing on my interactions with people around me. One of the things I love most about travel is how it forces you to truly live in the moment. I’ve felt a bit preoccupied with the future lately- especially while planning trips you end up just thinking of what you will do months from now instead of what you will do today.
