Grounding refers to: Ground (electricity), a return path for electric current. The Earth is like a gigantic battery that contains a natural electric charge. For safety and stability, everything in the electrical world is connected to it, whether it is an electric power plant or your refrigerator.
Being grounded also applies to people. When you are electrically grounded, you feel:
Centered
Solid
Strong
Balanced
Less tense
Less stressed
Overall, you feel good. If you have pain, you have less of it, or maybe none at all, when grounded. This special kind of energy has been scientifically proven to heal all kinds of pain, reduce stress, anxiety, depression, helps control blood sugar levels, regulates metabolism, helps reduce inflammation, assists with memory formulation…
To get the beneficial energy all you have to do is go barefoot for a half-hour or so outside. Sit, stand, or walk on soil, grass, sand, or concrete. These are all conductive surfaces that your body can draw the Earth’s energy. Wood, asphalt, and vinyl are not conductive. Ideally, you want to be Earthing as long as you can each day to experience the healing.
If there isn’t time in your busy day to go out barefoot or maybe its too cold, there are also indoor options. Invest in grounding products which can be used while sleeping, relaxing, or working such as conductive:

Day 1 of my liquid fast starting it with a cup of beef bone broth and sunshine.
It’s been a minute since my last liquid fast. I aim to do it every 3-4 mouths but I’m a little over that now.
Why am I doing this. Sure the weight loss is cool and all but you gain most of it back when you eat your normal calories again. I fast for the health benefits.
Some of which include:
Increase production of white blood cells. These guys fight off illnesses.
Promotes blood sugar control.
Fights inflammation. The kind involved in the development of chronic conditions, such as heart disease, cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
Studies show that it improves heart health, decrease blood pressure, as well as levels of blood triglycerides, total cholesterol and “bad” LDL cholesterol.
May boost brain function and prevent neurodegenerative disorders.
Helps boost metabolism for increase weight loss continued after fast.
Increase of the human growth hormone (HGH). This hormone decreases in production as we age and fasting is a great way to increase production. Why do I want more of this hormone? It helps you age slower, maintains muscle, promotes muscle growth, helps you recover quicker from injury, helps you recover from illness and protects you from disease. There are many types of fasts. The liquid fast is my favourite but the most common one is intermittent fasting.
While there are a load of benefits to fasting, I don’t recommend jumping in right away. There are things you have to do to prep your body for certain fasts. Therefore if you have any conditions or meds that require food I’d speak to your doctor first.
As always do your research as well as some doctors may not be that knowledgeable in fasting and preparing for one.
