I had someone ask me recently how I handle the rings when they’re wet and slippery. So I thought I’d make this video to demonstrate. . . When the rings are wet and the one armed monkey-swing method seems treacherous, I like to use both hands on the ring for a secure hold. I lay the second hand on top of the first one while I swing forward so if I happen to slip I have a better chance to recover. I then alternate hands so that one isn’t doing all of the gripping. . . This method doesn’t require the 90 hold that the sideways method does, so you can do this with less upper body strength. It may be a little slower than other methods, but it is a very secure way to get to that bell! . . Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions or comments!! . @silbfit_

My first @nordicrace in the elite, and finished at place 15 of 29 elite women with all obstacles completed. Really happy that I can race again after a 1/2 year of hip injuries, but the beautiful hills at Hasle Bakker made reality kick in that I need to get back in the training with running and hills! First 2 km I had a great position of top 10 but when I met the obstacle “over” I hesitated and failed a lot of times and got taken by what felt like the whole field of elite women. Then the chase began and I almost came back taken some postitions at the obstacles but the hills and run almost killed me and I couldn’t make it back in time. A 63kg OCR Athlete + 55kg of plates, that'll do the trick just fine I'm happy to crush this PB in 1 RM pull-up today with more than 80% of my bodyweight.
